We sail Sunday and were notified about 2 weeks ago that we were successful moved from SS2 to Celebrity Suite

LOL glad you are not on my Reflection sailing, I would be the guy corrupting Jeremy at the Sunset bar with smokes.

Hope you do not mind, I am going to piggy back another question. How early are the people there at the Muster Stations to check you off the list once you watch the videos etc. ?

I can't find my original post Ship : Reflection Date : March 12th Original Cabin : SS2 Bid on Royal and Celebrity Suite Accepted for a Celebrity Suite today cost was $1900 total - minimum bid was $900 PP I bid $950 PP We were in a SS2 on the deck right below the Oceanview Cafe, that is why I bid on a Celebrity Suite to get off of that deck my wife and I like our naps 🙂

I just got this wonderful email, maybe they are working today. FYI I had no pending charge on my CC this morning went from a SS2 to Celebrity Suite

Monday is a holiday here, not sure if they are open or not. Let us know what happens either way.

Same here, one bid is Expired and the other is Pending we do not sail for 3 weeks, been frozen since at least Friday. I read one posters post that mentioned she had the same thing happen then after about 3-4 days both bids went back to pending and she could modify them again, which made me 😞 sad.

Not sure about the Edge, we are on the Reflection in March and we are hoping they have changed machines since our last cruise in 2020 🙂

After reading the OPs question I checked on our cruise on March12th and my Royal bid is expired (there were no royals available) and my Celebrity Suite is Pending, we were or are in a SS2 hopefully that is good news, our SS was right below the cafe on Deck 6 on reflection, and that is no bueno

I got Covid at work, not sure if I will ever work again.

I used to tell my wife, pre internet days, that I could not wait to get home and read cruise critic to find out how shitty our cruise was.

I was today years old when I learned that apparently 1/4 of the ships passengers eats dinner at the buffet nightly.

If you are in BC, I would strongly suggest you fly in a full day before the Cruise, I certainly would not rely on AC out of Vancouver to get me there on time. It would stress me out not to be there the day before.

We are in the same boat (pun intended), we wanted to go on a cruise next X-Mas and when I checked any X Suite was about 4K more than the YC. So we figured we would try it. Get a travelling job 🙂 You'll rack up the miles and you can fly to Europe for free.

Looking forward to this, we are scheduled to be in a suite on Reflection in March and the YC next December. So this should be very helpful. Also I a little jealous, have fun.

So about $60 a day to eat in Blu + the other things if you use them. To me I would get a big specialty dining package for an extra few bucks a day, the only thing I use in AQ is Blu, I guess if you use the spa etc. it may change the value.

I am waiting for the 35% off on this one, at 20% the price is a little steep.

You can use OBC we just did that for our cruise in March, in fact the default is to use your OBC, same as excursions

We sail in March, and if Covid was good for one thing it is got to be the Muster drill being cancelled. I have not done the new process yet, but pre-covid I hated that drill. You get on the ship and feel like you are on vacation, then they shut everything down and you go to your muster station and sit there for what seemed like hours until that was over and then there was a mad rush for the elevators and the Sunset bar would be jammed.

Has to be a 10 day cruise right? Right? We just paid 4,900 for a SS on Reflection, with 800 OBC

Same thing on the App it shows us - in a SS - as Select Dining.

For our March 12th it is Jan 26th, that's what the app says.

We booked a SS on the Reflection for March, I guess it does not have a real Retreat area yet, so the price was OK, we booked the YC for next X-Mas and it was cheaper. I assume that once the Reflection gets a real retreat area, which I don't really care about I don't sit by the pool ever, they will increase the prices and we may just not bother anymore. 5K for a week is ok for 2 people , but I am not paying 10K just to have a pool area which I would never use.
