  1. I would hate to see the Drawing Room replaced by the Atlas Bar. But no one asked for my opinion.
  2. Before COVID, I enjoyed attending the M&Ms. There was always a crew member, often the Cruise Director, that would be in charge. The last one I remember had so many people signed up for that it was held in the Cabaret. The last ones I have been to, all in the library, have been poorly attended with no one in charge, and no appearance by a crew member. People sit around and talk to people they already know.
  3. Today I have received two notifications from Azamara reminding me that a payment is due soon on an upcoming reservation. Payment isn't due until September 6th. This is the first time I have I have ever received this kind of notification from Azamara. I booked the cruise through my TA. Is this the "new" Azamara?
  4. Thank you. I looked all over for it. I discovered my circle number has been changed. This might explain why I have not points.
  5. The Azamara website says to fill out the Future Bookings & Loyalty Support Form if one's Current Tier Points and/or Points is incorrect as shown on the Azamara website. Does anyone know where to find this form?
  6. There is no back of the bus. The only place we have seen an obvious sorting of seating by cabin type is for the Azamazing Evenings. It's never been a big deal for us.
  7. Sure the curtains were open on White Night New Years Eve. We could see people in Atlas.
  8. On our last cruise, while waiting for Prime C to open, we visited the Atlas Bar to see what it was like. There were only two people in there at the time and we took a seat in the corner by the door to wait a few minutes. We didn't order drinks and were made to feel very unwelcome. We don't need a place like that.
  9. I recall being told that a cruise booked through your TA could only be cancelled through your TA. The Future Cruise staff onboard cannot cancel your cruise.
  10. We usually eat dinner at the Patio several times during a cruise. We live in a part of the country where eating outside is a treat. The service is always good. The menu is simple but with enough choices. We can always get something from the buffet--kind of mix and match.
  11. This is not the only cruise that is being shortened. We received a similar letter for the Wine and Culture cruise on the Quest sailing on 9/3/24 ending in Lisbon. Azamara customer service has said that there will be a new cost for the cruise but would not know until today.
  12. Agree with previous two comments. Newbies to Azamara need to know that there are people to fix problems with rooms, with food service, with wi-fi, etc. And, one does not always get the solution they want. There are still supply issues all over the world. On our last cruise, our light switch did not work properly. Our cabin attendant discovered this, and it was fixed temporarily because they were waiting for a part. Thank goodness it stuck in off because it stopped working a few days later again.
  13. Yes, that is a problem. Some people do not realize that about a half of the scoop works just fine.
  14. The Onward did run out of capsules. I asked. Passengers are not supposed to use their own laundry soap. Only the ship's provided soap. If the clothes were that wet when coming out of the washing machine, the washing machine was not working right and needed to be fixed. Sometimes the spin cycle stops working and the machine needs to be recalibrated or whatever the crew does to fix the machines.
  15. It is a ship excursion. We dock at 6 am. We've done this excursion once before and enjoyed it so much, we are doing it again.
  16. The excursions only happen at the times listed. Sometimes there is more than one of the same excursion with different start times, but not usually. We have one booked at 6:30 am on a future cruise.
  17. We did this a year ago. Purchased tickets in advance for entry time that would give us plenty of time to explore before joining line to enter palace. Bus left us off in parking lot adjacent to fortress. I remember that one of the bus passengers had to convince the driver to take us to Alhambra. All was good after that.
  18. We got off the Onward yesterday. This was our 12th Azamara cruise and 3rd Azamara cruise since Covid. We may not be your typical Azamara cruisers, but we feel comfortable on the Azamara ships and like the itineraries. We ate at Windows, The Patio, Discoveries and Prime C. The service was good to great. We were pleasantly surprised to find the service in Discoveries much better than on previous cruises. We have heard the destination lecturer on multiple cruises. All of his presentations follow a formula that I find boring while my husband finds interesting. We have certainly heard much better ones on Azamara in the past. We could have sat for hours listening to the other special interest lecturer. We would love to take a class from him. The Cameron Family and Scott Harris, a comedian, were very good. We saw all of the shows in the Cabaret. The CD, we believe, did a good job filling in for Eric. There was no Assistant CD, so he was doing two jobs with a full ship. Customer Service was much better than previous cruises. They took care of issues promptly. All of the crew were friendly and helpful and addressed me by name when I saw them. Every crew member we talked to had had previous contracts with Azamara and had ones in the future. They were happy with Azamara.
  19. Trust me. It is going on my feedback form.
  20. Just off Onward cruise. 1. Specialty restaurant reservation desk on pool deck beside stage. I went directly to desk as soon as possible after boarding and some nights were already filled. Problem is that too many suite people make reservations for every night and then cancel later on. We were able to purchase two 3-dinner packages for 3 of us and dine two different nights in Prime C. 2. On TV, not able to see menus for restaurants, book excursions, etc. However, it does not take much leg power to check out daily menus in Discovery. 3. Dress code was very relaxed. Did not see shorts in Prime C but did see t-shirts, bare chests (men) in Windows, and bare feet and shorts in Cabaret for evening show. 4. The hair dryers are worthless. In our cabin, we could not plug it in the outlet at the desk in front of the mirror. It had a very long cord which was good because we plugged it in by the bed and stretched it across the room.

    No beach bags

From the first cruse we did, we have always brought a lightweight backpack for trips off of the ship. It fits very nicely over my husband's shoulders, and he can keep it on when I need to get out something. I don't think we have ever used the totes. We sometimes leave them on the ship when we disembark, sometimes bring them home and give them away.

    No beach bags

I have a half dozen bags and lots of wallets and a cruise in a week. Maybe I will bring some with me and pass them out.
  23. We got our FCC from an August cruise this week. Thank goodness I kept all of our documentation.
  24. We received a letter saying we would be given FCC while on a cruise in August. No expiration date. We booked another cruise onboard and we know a notation was made on that booking that we had FCC. Sadly, Azamara doesn't seem to know anything about it although a copy of the letter has been sent to them. Our TA has been working on this for months.
