  1. There is another version of the PDF which is created in 2021 (the one linked above is from 2019): https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/beverage-package-flyer-optimized.pdf It has some smaller changes to the 2019 PDF. And there is also a list on the website itself, didn't compare it: https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/onboard-packages/beverage-packages/compare-packages Regarding the $9 wines: depending on the location, they have different options. So in total, it is quite a selection of wines - not served at all places, but spread through them.
  2. It could have been so easy! Thanks for pointing that out.
  3. Thanks. Was cruising every year but seems I still missed that haha. So with Classic, anything above $9 on the menu will be charged the difference to $9 only.
  4. Thank you. I know it is stupid somehow as you can use any test picture from any date and any person - but I will stick to the rules for my good consience 🙂
  5. Just a quick question: "For all sailings 10 nights or longer, vaccinated guests ages 5 and older must present a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken within 3 days prior to boarding. " As english is not my native language, I want to make sure that I understand "within" and "prior" correctly: Boarding day is Monday so the earliest I could do the test is Friday?
  6. Is that really the case? I thought this only works for the Premium package, not the Classic. If Classic limit is $9, a $10 drink will cost $10 and not only $1. Premium limit $15 and a $16 drink will be $1.
  7. Can you point me to the details? In my cruise planner, I only see the Surf and the Premium Wifi packages, even though the Surf is included. No Upgrades.
  8. Thank you again, BillB48. I guess I will book a 3-4 hours excursion and once onboard, I will ask the shore excursion staff about the details. I really wonder how this will go... I would really love to see the ship dock in Colon from shoreside 😀 And it seems I will have to get up early to not miss the whole process through the locks!
  9. Thank you BillB48. So the schedule will be: arriving at the locks, waiting to pass the locks arriving in Gatun Lake Lake all tours start now going back through the locks and heading to Colon picking up the tour people Is that correct? Or will the Ship stay in the Lake for a while and pick up some of the shorter tours? Also, do you have any experience how long will it take to arrive at Gatun lake? In the booking, it says: 6am-3pm Panama canal (cruising) 5pm-9pm Colon I wonder as there are some tours starting at 9:30am and last 3 hours. That would make it possible to get back on the ship before it leaves Gatun Lake? Thanks again for your help.
  10. I am booked on Celebrity Edge which will be doing a partial transit. I would love to tender ashore once arrived in the Gatun Lake and then watch the ship arriving and docking later on. However, I am bit confused on the excursions provided by Celebrity - most of them start at 9/10am. I don't want to be unloaded before we pass the Locks 😆 And some of them take 6-8 hours... Any experience what tour will let me tender ashore and wait for the ship to follow?
  11. Could be the reason, but maybe everyone already had their procotered tests planned and/or don't know about the recent change? I'm curious about this topic and would be happy to read some experience.
  12. Where exactly was your cabin located at? I have quite a few pictures as we did B2B in 2019.
  13. True! Too bad I also ready this story happening on Celebrity... We have been on MSC Seashore Yacht club last year and I was smelling cigarette smoke (when our balcony door was open) in our room. The guest right next to us was smoking on her balcony and! I even talked to her and told her that is not only bothering me but that is also not allowed because it is security issue... when I started talking (Hello etc.) she was understanding english but when it came to smoking she didn't understand me anymore... so it happened that I took a picture of her (bad guy i am) as a proof. I talked to our butler and was told that she will disembark the next day anyways... however, we occasionally could smell cigarette smoke on our balcony, but it seem's it didn't come from our neighbours, must have been somewhere on the other nearby cabins. So I am sure this is a frequent issue, at least on MSC. Seems the more you pay, the more they tolerate.
  14. I just recognized when I hit the submit button - nice to "sea" you still around here. Hope you are doing good! I was on the Apex in December 2021 and very frustrated about the free internet not allowing me to send any picture. I wish I knew that "trick" before, but at least I learned now. Thank you!
  15. We often have "pasta in the middle to share" - no matter what cruise line. Love it 🙂
  16. So you basically had two accounts - one with the included "slow" but unlimited wifi and the other account (different login name?) with the 90minutes high speed internet?
  17. Been on Equinox and Harmony and had two total different vacations. If you want superb food and service and like to relax or leave the ship for excursions - go for Equinox. If you want action and rather stay on the ship - go for Harmony. With Kids, Harmony would be also the better choice as Equinox has almost nothing to do on the ship.
  18. We have been on MSC Seashore last year and they had fully biodegradable straws that felt, looked and „tasted“ like plastic. Much better than those paper things which we hate! So we took one with us to our Apex sailing in December as we knew Celebrity has those paper straws. We met the Food & Beverage Manager (Lazar) and talked about the paper straws - he said he knows about the problems and put it on point: „they suck“. So we told him about the straws they use on MSC and showed him the plastic-type (which was still sealed). He was very fascinated and asked if he can keep it - that‘s why we brought it with us the very long way so we agreed, of course. Maybe it was worth our effort if they now roll out those straws! Hoping to see them on our Edge cruise in November 🙂
