I prefer traditional eggs benedict, with one exception, I prefer bearnaise sauce instead of the hollandaise.  Bearnaise is pretty much a hollandaise with the addition of tarragon.

Hi!  If you have the time and are near the forward elevators, would you please check and see if they go all the way to deck 17 in The Retreat?  My DW and I are both mobility impaired and I hope there is a way to get her wheel chair up there.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks Rick, I saw that on the deck plans but I am looking for verification from someone who has used the elevators to get up there.  Both DW and my self are having to use wheelchairs or scooters these days.

How does someone in a wheelchair access The Retreat deck 17 in order to use the pool?

I use a Password Manager which also frequently does auto-fill for recognized sites.  With the Password Manager turned on, I frequently see a similar problem with drop down boxes.  Turn off any Password Manager or VPN and see if that helps.  For example, with VPN turned on I am unable to order groceries from my local Kroger store.

Watching the ships come into Port Everglades.  It almost makes you cry to witness the sad end of their cruise.  No one on deck, only a few standing in the doors of their cabins.

I pray that the crew is safe and that the cruise lines quickly recover from this fiasco.

Rhapsody just got underway from Tampa.  Looks like no passengers on board.  Where is she going?

We cruised from Miami last April, on the Equinox, and Celebrity was using the terminal that is closest to the mainland.  I believe it was Terminal F or G.  It is the tented Terminal that RCCL used for many years when sailing from Miami.

I must admit that I was very surprised that Royal, who are supposed to be the family ships, had a traditional Muster drill, whereas Celebrity showed that weird film in Murano, where there was so little room. 

They showed that terrible movie on Oasis and Harmony last year.  Much too loud, to the point of being painful to the ears.

Airlines have hundreds of planes making multiple flights per day.  The cruise line has, at most, a few dozen ships; with a captive audience for up to several weeks at a time.

He is the absolute best waiter we have had in more than 40 cruises!  I always pronounced his name as "Neeno", but I started to wonder if that was correct after our cruise.

Which RS did you have?  We are in 1241 in a few weeks.

Remember that your cell phones will switch to local time and will not necessarily match the official ships time!

One thing we would add to this list is a small square rubber bathmat.  We are in our 70's and the tubs and showers can be slippery.

My wife has mobility issues and cannot climb stairs.  Is there elevator access to the Retreat sundeck?

Great news.  He has been our favorite waiter out of 36 cruises!  Wonderful man to converse with every day.  BTW, we are cruising on Equinox on Oct 2, 2019 so we will see him then.

I would say Yes.  Even though suggested attire is for a more dressed up evening, I have seen many people still in jeans and polo shirts in all of the dining venues.  About the only time I have seen people turned away is for wearing shorts and/or flip flops to the MDR in the evening.We have alwlays enjoyed formal nights and dressing for dinner (still do!) however the trend is to a more casual do-your-own-thing mentality.  Do what you wish, don't worry about what others think.

Although having read recent cruise ship news, it is probably best you don't show up for chic night dressed as a clown! LOL

We think the best side would be portside for the sail down the river.  But there are interesting things to see on both sides of the river.  It is amazing how far out to sea you will be and there are still numerous oil drilling platforms.

IIRC, It is required that you be onboard at least 90 minutes before scheduled departure time.  If you are not, you will miss the cruise.  This is a government requirement for sailings from the US, not sure if the same rule applies when leaving from a Canadian port.

Dear son (just turned 21 at the time) came back to the cabin at 3 AM, shall we say SLIGHTLY intoxicated?  Lost his cabin key and woke me up by pounding on the door.

He came in and went to bed, I got dressed and went down to Guest Services to cancel his Seapass card and get a new one printed.  I think that all of the GS people were asleep in the backroom.  But anyway, while I was waiting I saw Security making their rounds and looking behind couches and cabinets and into closets and other spaces looking for people sleeping/passed out in these spaces. They would wake them and send them on their way. 

To this day, he won't drink Long Island Iced Teas. LOL
