  1. I cancelled my November cruise on March 19. I checked my account this morning, as I have been doing daily, and I have finally gotten the refund. So 5 weeks and 2 days.
  2. I am only looking to get back my deposit and upgrade cost - about $242, so not nearly a much as many of you. I called again on Tuesday, because I cancelled on 3/19, and still hadn't seen it. I was told that it was processed on Saturday (4/11) so it would be another 2 weeks probably until I will see it. I guess I don't get the entire credit/refund process, and this isn't just on cruises, but on everything. With the technology today, and the fact that they can get money out of your account literally within seconds, why are we supposed to tolerate that it takes 7-10 days (or in this case, months) to get that money back. Why is that? I've never understood that.
  3. I cancelled a November 5 cruise on March 19. Called 2 weeks later because I hadn't received my deposit. Was told it would be 30 days. I'll be calling back today and verifying that it's 30 days from the date I cancelled, and has nothing to do with the sailing date.
  4. Thanks very much for the review. I have an inside stateroom booked on Deck 11 for next summer. Thought it would be pretty cool to be right on the pool deck. Also nice to hear the positive reviews on the changes on Coco Cay.
  5. Can I ask why? I've only been on 3 cruises - so not terribly familiar with the differences. Rocking of the boat maybe? Or just ease of getting around?
  6. I have a very similar post. I can't offer any recommendations. I was looking for feedback from anyone who has stayed in the new staterooms on Deck 11. But I think it's going to be really cool to be that close to the pool, and the solarium in between will be a good buffer for the noise (I hope). Plus they are brand new. I have an inside stateroom booked for next June.
  7. Just wondering if anyone has stayed in the new staterooms on Deck 11 (pool deck) on Navigator of the Seas. I have an inside stateroom booked for next June. Just very curious how it is actually being on the same deck as the pool.
  8. OK. May it is then :). Thanks to all who replied!!!
  9. I was just wondering why the price was so different between May and June on a 7 night cruise out of New Orleans in 2020. In May it's $510 per person In June, it goes up to $731 per person. What am I missing. Is the weather drastically different or something?
  10. I'm booked in one of then the new staterooms on Deck 11 for the 8/23 sailing. Very excited. I've took my first cruise 6 years ago, on Enchantment out of Port Canaveral. Just the 3 night cruise. Liked it so much I did it again a few months later by adding on to a trip to Orlando that we already had planned. Enchantment again. Then I wanted to try the 4 night going to Key West out of Miami, and was a bit disappointed that it was going to be Enchantment - again. So, I'm pretty excited to be on one of the bigger ships, and think it will be pretty cool to be staying right on the pool deck.
  11. Thanks for the info. I'll give them a call first thing tomorrow morning. Last time I tried to call at this time of the day I finally gave up after being on hold for 45 minutes. It's been 2 years since I've cruised, so it's doubtful that I'm "Prime", but worth a phone call to check. Certainly not a deal breaker if I'm not. Just happy to get the free cruise. M Life offered me one as well, but I would have had to use it by June. This gave me choices until the end of October. I have upgraded my M Life comped stateroom before, but am actually just fine being in an inside stateroom. My stateroom is actually on the pool deck, so If I want to see the ocean, I can just go out my door 🙂 Thanks again!
  12. I'm undecided, but was considering the same thing, but I know realistically I will be anxious to get on board. I just through it would be cool to be able to not check your luggage and carry it right on board and drop it off in your stateroom. Not sure what I will do, but can anyone give a guess as to how long the Windjammer stays open for lunch if I do decide to go a bit later.
  13. I have had several comped cruises through my Las Vegas MGM players club (M Life), but have now been offered a comped cruise directly through Casino Royale. I'm assuming they already know my style of play, as it hasn't really varied on any of the 3 cruises I've taken, so I'm not too worried about giving them enough play. Drinks? Will they be free? With M Life, being Platinum at that time, I got 10 free drinks in the casino. Getting cash in the casino? It was kind of nice because the fee was waived (I think again because of Platinum M Life), so you could get cash on your credit card without paying a fee, and the charge came through just as a normal credit card charge, and not as a cash advance. Much easier than carrying cash. Just pay it off when you get home. Anything else I should know. I'm pretty excited. I've been on 3 cruises and they've all been on Enchantment which is a rather small ship. I have an inside stateroom on the Navigator in August of 2019. Brand new rooms on the 11th deck that only start being available in April of 19. That should be pretty cool being right on the pool deck. Anything else I should know? Thanks.
