I have been looking for price drops because of the posts here, but it never seemed to drop for my cruise. WELLLLLLLL a $20 price drop! Hey don't judge me, that is about 2 drinks. So my dilemma is I booked with a TA so I don't know how to go about getting the credit. (I would search the boards, but I don't have time and I have purposely skipped any posts regarding them because I was jealous I hadn't gotten one :D ) But I want my $20 so, do I call Carnival or my TA?

I`m so excited to sail in 50 days!! Rest, relaxation and the Elation! Has anyone sailed recently? I don't see many reviews on the Elation, and I am the only one that replied to my roll call. Lol. My BFF and I will be ready for some fun. Can anyone tell me how to get to the secret decks or hidden spots? Does the cheers program have to be purchased for the entire cruise or can I "cheer" for one day? How are the clubs? We will be sailing 4th of July weekend and there will probably be families on board, what are some fun activities for singles on board??

Thank you for your thorough answer. It is obvious I am not a wine or tequila expert. Barely a novice, but I think they will make nice gifts to bring back now that I know what to look for. :)

Counting down, excited and can hardly wait. We are still not sure what we are going to do other than the beach, but we will work that out. I wanted to know if Cozumel is a place where we can find good wine? Also where can I find the tequila with the worm in it?

Anyone sail the Elation recently? I found links to the fun times from two years ago, and I am not sure that they would be accurate for my July sailing.

My BFF and I are getting away from it all (job relocation, divorce, raising kids alone) and taking a girls trip. I started a roll call to see if we could meet up with other CC members, but that was a no go. I was the only one to reply to the thread. Lol. So Girls just wanna have fun, and I suggested to cruise and want to make sure to make the best of it. My last two cruises were ok, I want to have a blast!! Show me what cha got. We will be in NO on Wednesday and have late flights out on Monday, so we have time to explore the city too.

I have been following and I am excited to see the pics too. Congratulations. I am thinking about planning a wedding cruise for my 2nd wedding. I just need to find a groom first. All in good time. :)

I won't have a car :( so I will have to check out your taxi options. Or..... I can rent a car for a day. It can't be more than what I would pay to tour the city in cab fare. Since I will have the daylight to burn, I may as well make the most of it. My friend that is flying back to Atlanta wont leave until 6pm. Thanks, I have a new outlook. We are arriving the day prior to sailing so, whatever we miss on Wednesday, we can do on Monday.

Greetings!!! I haven't scheduled my flight back from NOLA because the prices are too high. The prices finally went down, but the flight doesn't leave until 8pm. Are there things near the airport that I can get into? I don't want to get a hotel room just because I will have a 12 hour wait for my flight. Thanks in advance.

Exactly the type of ideas I was looking for. I want to get a feel for the city/culture but not the touristy places. Thanks so much. I was concerned about paying for a cab for the day. Only because of the postings about being taken for a ride on the prices. But if I set the expectations up front, I shouldn't have any problems.

I will visit Cozumel for the firs time in July. There are several posts regarding which beach is best, but are there any sights (museums, ruins, points of interest) I should make sure to see? We plan on shopping and hitting the beach for a bit, so something that will only take a couple of hours. :D

I have been reading the posts about OBC, ES, and price drops. So I ask my TA about it and she says I am not eligible for anything since I got a good rate for my cruise. I she shuckin and jivin me? How is it that if the price drops, I am not eligible? How does one obtain OBC? Where does it come from? When I inquired about that she said she called Carnival and they don't show that I have an OBC. I had one on my last cruise and I can't tell you where it came from, so I asked my TA bout it. :confused: I want goodies too.
