  1. I used Rony’s Tours. Arnold was our outstanding guide for the day. We concluded our day with snorkeling at West Bay Beach. It was great!
  2. I was just on the Celebration and didn’t see any real poker games!
  3. It was not too bad. I am going to be 75 next month and it was not a problem.
  4. Just off the Celebration. It worked great except that we rarely got the ding and could not send group chats. It was well worth the $5.00
  5. I posted this review on trip advisor yesterday. We were there 12/31/22 Arnold’s Private Sightseeing Tour Review of Rony's Tours - Private Guide Reviewed yesterday Our favorite part of the tour was Arnold. My grandchildren wanted to take him home. Arnold showed us a fabulous day. Our second favorite highlight was Manawakie Park. I had told Arnold that the most important thing to my grandchildren, ages 20, 20, and 13 was visiting with animals. We were all able to hold monkeys , sloths, and a parrot. Arnold made their dream come true as our main goal was achieved. We then visited Mayak Chocolate Factory and then ended our day with snokwling at West Bay beach (Bananarama) The snorkeling was fantastic there. I highly recommend Rony’s Tours and Arnold. 6. See The Chacchoben Ruinsthe Right Way! Review of The Native Choice Reviewed yesterday There were 5 of us, the youngest was my 13 year old grandson, who possibly enjoyed the tour the most. Eddy (closest I could get to his real name)was our outstanding guide. His knowledge of the ruins and the Mayan people was most impressive to say the least. Our tour was extensive and well worth the price. We enjoyed it and could not have been more please. I would not hesitate to book with Native Choice rather than the cruise line as cruise line excursions have always felt like a ripoff to me. It made for a great day in Costa Maya! Date of experience: December 2022 Ask Janice M about The Native Choice I posted this on trip advisor yesterday. We were there 12/30/22.
  7. this is the review I posted on trip advisor yesterday. We had a great experience with Native Choice and I would definitely use them again. It made for a great day! 8. I have the 14 day booked on dream with new ports to me but was shocked at carnivals excursion prices. I have booked some excursions for 2 of those ports on radiance at the black friday rcl sale at 35% off. Never thought rcl would be cheaper than carnival. I want both ncl prima and carnival jubilee but going to wait and hope last minute prices drop. Rcl harmony inside balcony is cheaper for me than either carnival or ncl. I do get rcl discounts for loyalty the others dont give. Still waiting to book jubilee and prima. But I want both. Carnival seems to be getting expensive vs rcl for me. Hard to pay extra. I'm in the same spot as OP, not wanting to pay extra for carnival. I think it’s accurate to say that whenever you book an excursion through a cruise line it’s a ripoff. There has to be extra $ for the cruise line. I have booked practically all my excursions by myself and not through the cruise line. I did go through Princess in 1/22 because of Covid, but I felt ripped off and. I safer. I vowed not to do it again. Go on the board to the destination of the cruise and asked for the companies they use,
  9. Did they ever have t shirt sales? Or any kind of sales during your cruise?
  10. I believe that I read that these cabins come with the shampoo and conditioner is what is used in the spa. Is it better than the norm so I don’t have to bring any of mine? Also, I believe these cabins come with a bottle of water. Is that a one time thing or do they replenish it? Thank you.
  11. You can use the OBC to pay gratuities once you are onboard. It makes no sense to me, but it appears to be the rule.
  12. It’s only for people on the ship and it’s very glitchy and spotty service wise. Sometimes your text goes through right away and sometimes it doesn’t go through for an hour or more. That’s why we switched to the iPhone WiFi messaging. We never had a missed text and they went through immediately both to our family on the ship and our family back home. We all have iPhones, but will texting work without all of us having Wi-Fi?
  13. Yes that’s what I was trying to say. When I said “all you need is WiFi and it’s free” I was hoping that it was understood that WiFi was needed. I meant your carrier doesn’t charge you for the texts since your phone would be roaming. And you don’t get charged for the phone calls or video chats using Snapchat either. Sorry for the confusion. I’m not sure about the voip. Anyone have any experience with Carnival’s messaging that they charge $5.00 per person to text among yourselves?
  14. I can’t be the only doubter out here. Anyone who has cruised knows that it is not so easy to go overboard. It would be very difficult, but not nearly as difficult as treading water for 20 hours when not sober. This story does not ring true on so many levels!
  15. https://www.ebhotels.com/miami this has all that u requested. I am staying there 12/26. The reviews are excellent
  16. https://www.ebhotels.com/miami theyhave a shuttle from the airport
  17. Thanks so much for the info. Is it pretty easy to get a taxi back to the ship from either place? Thanks again.
  18. We have an independent tour booked and I am wondering which of these might be better for a few hours of snorkeling and lunch. Thank you for any advice.
  19. We are taking a private tour of Cozumel and then want to snorkel and lunch at one of these. I will be with two 20 year olds and a 13 year old. What might be your preference? Thank you.
  20. I think it is pretty common to ask the waiter to just bring extra tails. I know I have done it more than once.
  21. Cruise back to Miami and our plane is not until 3:30. I am booked on a tour through the cruise line that will conclude by taking us to the airport. Are there any independent tours that would pick us up at the port and finish by dropping us off at MIA? thank you!
