  1. That would happen whether or not they did anything. Pretty sure Royal doesn't feel the need to justify any price increases
  2. They won't be doing any major upgrades to Vision or Radiance class ships. mechanical as well as some cosmetic stuff to keep them presentable enough to sail for the next few years
  3. There is a very good possibility that in a few months, after her drydock moving her won't be required as the bridge should be cleared. It will be a long time before any construction of a new bridge impacts ant ships
  4. If they are not outright cancelled I definitely see them sailing from Bayonne as the leading option. If that is the route they take then I see guests being given the option of a full refund plus FCC or they sail with a FCC of some amount.
  5. Since there are only 2 more sailings prior to drydock it would not surprise me in the least to see those 2 sailings cancelled and park her until the drydock if the drydock can't be pushed ahead. That will give them time to figure out a longer term solution if access to Baltimore will be restricted for any length of time
  6. I would assume that they have left it vague so they can do what they want
  7. even if they did i doubt they would go back and change it
  8. They were referring to the next cruise obc not the shareholders obc
  9. Port fees snd taxes are refunded regardless of whether you have insurance or not. Name changes can be done up to 72 hours prior to sailing.(it's actually a bit less than that but I err on the side of caution) The only reason to get insurance for a casino cruise would be medical and the cruise lines medical coverage is pathetic. $25k medical and $50k evac.
  10. Call and ask to change rooms to connecting insides on deck 9 if there are any available
  11. Just wait until they reduce the shareholder benefits for TA's like they did with the next cruise obc.
  12. If it is obc thst is not showing up until on board it will be refundable. If not used it will be refunded to the cc on file at the end of the cruise.
  13. There are better ways to approach this that simply glaring at the kids and stating "you out" without even addressing the parents standing right beside the child.
  14. Cruise planner purchases are tied to the spot on the reservation and not the name so they should stay with the new guest with the exception of drink packages if an underage person replaces an adult. At least this is the way it has been in the past. Not sure if that has been recently changed
  15. Yep, that was the cruise we were on. That security guy was acting like he was on a power trip.
  16. At least in the Comedy Club and Quest Not sure when this started but on our cruise last week on Odyssey they were carding kids at the doors and security was going around removing kids who had made it in prior to the event starting. It is unlike before where they could be there with their parent, now it does not matter, if they are not 18 they are forced to leave regardless of whether their parents are standing beside them or not. I heard the same thing from a friend with a 17 YO on Icon last week. I am suspect that there started to be too many entitled parents who decided that their 12 yo was mature enough to go so they just made it black or white with no option for parental consent.
  17. Pretty sure they don't have insurance which is why they are asking
  18. Post Covid there are no exceptions. For the first 15 days you are in the 25% cancellation phase, after that you jump to the 50% phase, sound like you are right on the wire. Prior to Final Payment Due Date No Charge (except for Non-Refundable Deposit amounts) 89 to 75 Days Prior to Sailing...25 % per Guest 74 to 61 Days Prior to Sailing...50 % per Guest 60 to 31 Days Prior to Sailing...75 % per Guest 30 to 0 Days Prior to Sailing... 100 % per Guest
