  1. Not really. If they can charge to your account, what method you have set up to pay that account (OBC, cash, CC, DC) is irrelevant. Each card needs to have an on board account secured by either a CC. DC. or cash. You MIGHT be able to limit the daily spend on their cards. There has been mixed results in attempting to do that.

Sounds like My only option is to confiscate the cards unless they need them.

  2. Davy Jones - love your style of review...keep going!

We are on Breakaway in April, so curious to know where on the ship Margaritaville is? This was not there last time.

Was there any other areas damaged (other than the plank) by the storms? I think I read somewhere that Spice H2O was affected.

Praying by April that the weather is less treacherous.

    Appreciate your answering our questions...

  3. You can use it towards cruise next certificate. I had non refundable OBC, went to the casino and asked to change it for cash. They take 3%, the rest got in cash. The only reason I knew that it can be done is thanks to cruise critic boards.

I first went to the guest services, they just said no exchanges for cash, they don't even tell you that you can do that at the casino.

Really? I can go to casino and use OBC to play?

  4. We just received the email today for our feb. Sailing. We are in a BA and bid on the penthouse..

I know it’s a vacation week and we probably won’t get it.. But, it would be awesome if we did..

we had to cancel last year because my husband found out he had cancer.. he’s cancer free now and to be in the haven would just make it even better!!!

    Which week?

  5. No:loudcry:..not yet, but thanks for asking. I don't want to say too much on a public board until after the cruise, but I noticed they're down to two and lowered the asking price another $200.

(Be happy to discuss on PM, since you're already in and helped me with my bids. knlgraff@msn.com )

Where can you see what cabins are available? I have a connecting mini suite and would like to see if the other 1 is available

  6. Never been in the Haven, so can't comment on being secluded from the the rest.

    • The last time we were on the Breakaway in 2015 for February Break, we had bad weather for 5 of the 7 days. We didn't find it to be that much of a madhouse.
    • The pool is very poorly designed for a boat with so many pax.

    • Personally never really experienced the smoke issues other complain about
    • Do like the spaciousness of it, so there are more places to go to, more activities to use, like mini-golf and ropes course.
    • Do not like that there isn't a Spinnaker's like lounge for cold sail away and night time parties

I went on Feb break 2014 and it wasn’t busy at all. We had perfect weather though

  7. We listened to the travel adviser with NCL as far as not needing passports, but do have birth certificates and licenses.

Now getting nervous if we should get off the boat at any of the stops...Roatan, Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel

Could there be a problem? Has anyone done it? Thoughts?

I did the Dawn in November, your good with just a BC and ID.
