Not really. If they can charge to your account, what method you have set up to pay that account (OBC, cash, CC, DC) is irrelevant. Each card needs to have an on board account secured by either a CC. DC. or cash. You MIGHT be able to limit the daily spend on their cards. There has been mixed results in attempting to do that.

Sounds like My only option is to confiscate the cards unless they need them.

i was wondering, can I just buy onboard credit for my kids to limit their spending and remove them from my CC? Not sure they will know when to quit if they go to the arcade.

We are on Breakaway in April, so curious to know where on the ship Margaritaville is? This was not there last time.

 

Was there any other areas damaged (other than the plank) by the storms? I think I read somewhere that Spice H2O was affected.

 

Praying by April that the weather is less treacherous.

I booked Cagneys for 3 on the 1st night of my upcoming cruise, however, there wasn't an option for 3, so I selected 4 people. I see on other nights, I could've picked 3, just not that night for some reason. Will they bill me for 4 people?

I bet you read reviews on cruise critic. I bet 95% of the reviews are from the same cruise that went through a major storm. It’s a great ship

You can use it towards cruise next certificate. I had non refundable OBC, went to the casino and asked to change it for cash. They take 3%, the rest got in cash. The only reason I knew that it can be done is thanks to cruise critic boards.

 

I first went to the guest services, they just said no exchanges for cash, they don't even tell you that you can do that at the casino.

Really? I can go to casino and use OBC to play?

We just received the email today for our feb. Sailing. We are in a BA and bid on the penthouse..

i have a 3 specialty dining package for 2 on theBreakaway. How does that work in the ala cartel restaurants?

I have a package that includes 3 nights specialty dining for me and my daughter. My girlfriend is in a different cabin with her son. Can I use my daughter specialty dining for my girlfriend as well? Or is it only for my daughter and I? TIA

Never been in the Haven, so can't comment on being secluded from the the rest.

 

• The last time we were on the Breakaway in 2015 for February Break, we had bad weather for 5 of the 7 days. We didn't find it to be that much of a madhouse.
  
• The pool is very poorly designed for a boat with so many pax.
  

• Personally never really experienced the smoke issues other complain about
  
• Do like the spaciousness of it, so there are more places to go to, more activities to use, like mini-golf and ropes course.
  
• Do not like that there isn't a Spinnaker's like lounge for cold sail away and night time parties

We're cruising on the Norwegian Gem on Jan. 3, 2018 and are looking for round-trip transportation options from Winchester, NH to the NY terminal. We really don't want to drive if possible. Help!

We listened to the travel adviser with NCL as far as not needing passports, but do have birth certificates and licenses.

 

Now getting nervous if we should get off the boat at any of the stops...Roatan, Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel

 

Could there be a problem? Has anyone done it? Thoughts?
