This is an unusual cruise in that at departs and ends in Seattle, BUT it has two Canadian ports that it stops at midway thru the cruise, Vancouver and Victoria. How are they handling the ArriveCAN requirement since ports are in the middle of the cruise. I called NCL and they had no clue what I was talking about.Thanks. Jerry from Oklahoma

update from my previous post about a PCR or Antigen required for all Carnival cruises from Aug. 4 onward.
Also read there is a mask requirement to wear your mask all the time while on board except when eating.
Not much fun if you ask me.

Just got an email from Carnival saying that all cruises leaving on Aug. 4 and thereafter that ALL passengers, whether vaccinated or not will be required to submit a PCR OR ANTIGEN TEST done no more than 72 hours before departure.
We are on the Breeze Aug. 21 out of Galveston.
I called and evidently, the passengers are stuck with this additional charge.
Here in OKC, a PCR test is $200 and an Antigen test is $69.
I would just as soon cancel although my wife and I are fully vaccinated, but we do not want to be exposed to the recent surge in the Delta variant at our
advanced ages of 75 and 70.
I hope Carnival handles this in a fair manner and lets us have the option of cancelling or putting that money on a future cruise.

Saying a prayer for David Abel and his wife and all the other passengers and crew. I can't imagine the stress they are going through.

Was in Chick Filet A this morning and the asst. manager told us that Chick Filet A's Corporate Office has chartered two cruise ships for All of their owner/operators next week. The CEO will be going back and forth between the two ships in a helicopter.
Does anyone anyone kmow the ships or itinerary?
The Asst. Manager also told us that Coproate Chick Filet paid extra to have all alcohol on the ship removed and not available for sale
Thanks,
Patrick

Does anyone have a private tour that they booked after Trump's new regulations If so, please send me the website or email of that company. I had booked a tour and they emailed me yesterday saying they can no longer offer it as they are 100% Cuban owned and operated.

Who did you book with? Thanks, Jerry

I too just spoke to royal, we are sailing March 26. He stated that you are permitted to leave the ship having booked a non royal excursion as long as you have a printed confirmation to prove it. We are going to check off box 3, supporting the Cuban people, and booked the food tour and a 6hour private car tour of the city with a two hour stop at the beach.

We have some friends on this voyage. Do you have any updates on the second day (actually the first day and only day in port) in SP.
Did they extend the time you are there. How were tours handled?
Just curious.
We were there last month.
Thanks Jerry
