  1. Yes -- We had an overnight in Paris and were one of the first off, met our guide, toured on day 1 & 2 and back to the ship about an hour before sailing onto the next port.
  2. We are new to Oceania and considering including air thru Oceania for our June, 2021 cruise. Several questions for regular Oceania cruisers. (1) Can we select our own flights or does Oceania pick for you? (2) Can you book premium economy? (3) Can we fly in a few days before? (4) Can we eliminate air from the reservation at a later date before final payment? (5) Do you pay for the air when booking or at final payment? Thanks for your response. It is appreciated.
  3. Flatbush Flyer or any experienced Oceania cruiser. We are new to Oceania. Could you please explain "O life tour number can be counted against the minimum YWYW program" and while we understand your first statement about "most expensive of the available O Life tours doubling the perk, we are confused about the what the "YWYW program" is and how it works. Any assistance you can provide is appreciated. Thank you
  4. New to Oceania. Looking at veranda room on Marina for June of 2021. Here's the question for Oceania regulars -- Is WIFI included if you take the Cruise only option? Thanks for your reply
  5. andlep -- Thank you for remembering!! Your information and photo will be very helpful. We look forward to visiting your home town. Thanks again.
  6. While I am sure there are plenty of taxis at the pier, can anyone comment on the availability of one capable of holding 6 adults and luggage. We would be going to an hotel on Flinders Street. Thanks

  8. Terry -- Do you recall the tour operator you used in Tasmania? We are on the Solstice starting in Auckland on 2/17 and ending in Melbourne on 2/29. Our plan is to visit Kangaroo island, but given the fires raging there, we may need an alternate plan so we are thinking of going to Tasmania. Thanks for your reply.
  9. Check out the roll call for your cruise. Try to join other members and put together private tours -- even if they are walking tours. They are far more comprehensive than the big bus tours -- also you can see what you want not what the tour company suggests. Its a great way to make new friends and see the world.
  10. Thank you for taking the time to speak with Melissa. We were hoping she would be on board in February.
  11. Mahdnc -- We were lucky enough to have Melissa as the Captain's Club hostess for our South America cruise last January. She was wonderful. Do you know how long she will be on the Solstice as we will be on board for the February 17 sailing? Thanks
  12. We booked through a travel agent. Still waiting to hear from them. Will advise when we hear.
  13. CruiserMickey -- we are on the same June 4th cruise as you. We have 4 Aqua Class cabins (which can only accommodate 2 people) and all still say "Aqua Class Guarantee". I sent a note to my TA this morning to make sure we still have the same cabins.
  14. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-50710998 Interesting article -- White Island is privately owned.
  15. Has anyone use a company called "Rome Private Guides"? They seem to get rave reviews (via Viator), but don't seem them mentioned on this forum. We are 7 adults visiting Italy in June 2020 and are interested in private tours. Thank you for your comments, they are appreciated.
