  1. Soon we were heading north on I-95….. We passed Buc-ee’s in Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. We had no plans to stop there…. We are driving through Jacksonville….. We left Florida and flew through Georgia. We are making good time. We entered South Carolina and ran into a little bit of traffic. I guess I jinxed myself. Once we got through that it was clear sailing again. We passed another Buc-ee’s in Florence, South Carolina….. To be continued……
  2. Day # 15- (April 28th) – Debarkation Day & heading home. We were up at 6am to get ready for the day. The Carnival Vista is already docked at Terminal 6 in Port Canaveral…… Here is the General Debarkation Information….. Here is our Diamond Debarkation Information….. At 7:30am we left our cabin for the final time to head to our meeting place in the Reflections Restaurant…… We were there less than fifteen minutes when we were told that our luggage was available and we could leave the ship. We never stopped walking until we got downstairs and located our luggage. Getting a porter took a few minutes, but once we had one he loaded us up and we proceeded through the facial recognition. He then took our luggage right to the car in the parking garage. We took good care of him. After we got things situated in the car we pulled out of the parking garage at 8:30am. Here are our last views of the Carnival Vista as we left Port Canaveral….. To be continued…..
  3. We decided that the last dinner of our cruise would be at Bonsai Sushi. Patti had the green salad, edemame, and California rolls…… I’m enjoying my Sake Sangria…… I had the miso soup, bang bang rolls, and meat skewers….. It was another great dinner here! Afterwards we made our way to the Havana Bar to have drinks with Kiran. After I maxed out my Cheers Package for today, it was time to call it a cruise, head back to the cabin, and put out our luggage. It’s always a sad sight….. Today’s Cheers count: Patti = 6, Jeff = 15. For the day (+9), the final count for the cruise (+30). Coming up next: Debarkation day and we begin our journey home.
  4. It’s time for bingo! Here is Patti’s favorite bingo package….. Here is some bingo info…… When it was all said and done, Patti didn’t have any winners. She met me at the Lobby Bar where we spent some time having drinks with Yanti and Melissa….. Patti catches a couple of Dreamscapes that she hadn’t seen yet….. We made our way back to the cabin to relax for a little bit. Here are Patti’s ducks. She needs to get them packed! To be continued….
  5. Patti is in line to get her omelet….. After she eats, she meets me back at the cabin. I Gede and his assistant Amilcar are outside our door, so we decide to tip them now. Here they are…… Amilcar takes a picture of I Gede and us…… Patti and I head over to the Ocean Plaza to buy the bingo cards for this afternoon’s bingo games. We have a $29 bingo package that we won from Deal or No Deal, so we pay $20 more to upgrade to Patti’s favorite bingo package. We went back to the cabin to change to go out to the Havana Area. Our cabin has been cleaned, and I Gede has left his final towel creation….. We hung out in the Havana Area until 12:30pm. I went back to the cabin to do my packing, while Patti made her way to the Liquid Lounge for $5,000 Jackpot Bingo. She’s got her drink and her cards, so she’s ready….. But first, Cruise Director Marty is conducting his Q&A session…… To be continued……
  6. Day # 14- (April 27th) – Fun Day at Sea # 6. We were up at 6:30 to a warm sunny day. The seas have a little bit of chop to them….. Here are today’s Fun Times. They must have borrowed some Fun Time paper stock from the Carnival Magic yesterday….. I went to the Ocean Plaza Bar to get my morning coffee from Setyo, and then back to the cabin to work on pictures. Patti just about completes her packing. She’s hungry, so she’s going to the Lido Marketplace for an omelet. But first she passes the Reflections Restaurant where they are setting up for the Thing 1 & Thing 2 Birthday Breakfast….. To be continued……
  7. The Pool Cabanas are $400 and are available in Carnival's Shore Excursions.
  8. Another great review Megan! Can't wait for the next! Thanks!! 😁🤗
  9. Enjoy your cruise sid. We'll see you on the other side! 😀
  10. Great pictures Beth! You did catch me leaving the pool to make a pit stop and grab another beer! It was a vicious cycle! 😁
  11. That's the beauty of sailing to the Caribbean from NYC. A minimum of two sea days each way!
  12. You won't have to worry about that Princess ship when you get back to New York. They dock in Brooklyn!
  13. Tonight I’m at Danny Bevins (Explicit 18+) show….. Here is Matt the Comedy Host….. Danny Bevins on stage. It was a great show….. I took a walk to the Atrium where Juno Smile was playing…. Feeling hungry, I made my up to the Lido Marketplace for a bite to eat….. Afterwards, I made my way down to the Havana Bar for a nightcap, where I bumped into Beth & Mark……. Around 10:30pm I made the short walk back to the cabin where I see that another plate of cookies has been delivered to us….. Today’s Cheers count: Patti = 3, Jeff = 9. For the day (E), for the cruise (+21). Coming up next: Our final day on the Carnival Vista!
  14. I went back to the cabin to take a little nap. Patti went out exploring and found Clinton playing in the Red Frog Pub…… Patti went outside and got some pictures of tonight’s sunset….. After that, Patti went up to the Deli to grab a bite to eat, and then made her way back to the cabin. Meanwhile, I had gotten up from my nap and made my way down to the Limelight Lounge for some comedy. These were the comedians for the second half of this cruise….. To be continued…..
  15. Here are some views as we sailed away from Grand Turk….. We are leaving the Carnival Magic and Grand Turk behind….. To be continued…..
  16. After boarding the Carnival Vista for the last time on this cruise, we made our way back to the cabin where I Gede had left us today’s towel animal, and the laundry that Patti had sent out last evening, had been returned…. Once we cooled off we went back to the Havana Area where we stayed until after sail away at 4pm….. To be continued……
  17. Speaking of food, it’s time to eat. Patti calls me in for lunch….. Patti is having the turkey club sandwich and fries….. I’m enjoying the jambalaya….. For the next couple of hours we enjoyed the Pool Cabana, drinks, and dips in the pool….. At 2:30pm we decided to head back to the ship. We paid our tab, ($104 + tip), said goodbye to Marosa, and then made our way back….. The Fun Squad was out there to greet us….. To be continued…..
  18. Patti is making her way back to Margaritaville….. Patti spots me hanging out in the pool…… The following pictures show how crowded the pool area can get, especially with two ships in port. This is why we always try to get a Pool Cabana here. There’s plenty of space for ourselves, it’s air conditioned, we have our own server, and we can eat our food in comfort and quiet…… To be continued…..
  19. Patti has made it to Jack’s Shack. We were last here in January 2023, shortly after the new owner took over. It was not a good experience. We could forgive that the website was not updated with the new beach chair and umbrella prices, (which are more than reasonable), but what we couldn’t forgive was the inattentive service by the bartenders, especially when it wasn’t busy. Practically had to beg for a drink, they left dirty glasses and dishes on the bar forever, and spent more time drinking shots amongst themselves. The food was nothing special, and the prices were just as high, or even higher than at Margaritaville. The only thing going for them is the nice sandy beach there. We may give them another try in the future, but the reviews on Trip Advisor need to get better. In fairness, they seem to be trending up…… It seems like the cats have the run of the place now…. Here is a view of the ships from Jack’s Shack….. To be continued…..
  20. Patti hits the beach. She’s going to take a stroll over to Jack’s Shack. Here are some views along the way…. These are the chair and umbrella vendors that used to set up in front of Margaritaville before they were kicked out….. Here are some more views along the beach as Patti makes her way to Jack’s Shack….. To be continued……
  21. I’m already on my third beer. I’ll be heading out into the pool….. Here are some more pool views taken before the Magic’s passengers get here…. The Flowrider is in operation today….. To be continued……
  22. It seems you guys had a nice relaxing day as well! JiJi's was also our best meal of our cruises!
  23. Send a note to the mods. They'll fix it for you. 😎
  24. Here are our food menus…… Here are some views from our Pool Cabana. It looks serene and uncrowded now, but wait until the passengers from the Carnival Magic arrive….. They have built another satellite bar over by Cabana # 10…… To be continued…….
