  1. Hi -- so can JS guests access Coastal Kitchen? My mother and I will be in a JS on Oasis in February; Thought a JS didn't qualify. TIA -- Susan
  2. I am on that sailing as well. I will add that I went to Perfect Day last June and it was fabulous!!! Plenty of sun and fun for FREE! I spent the morning floating in the crystal clear waters and then the afternoon at that AMAZING pool! AND, after having been 9 days straight on the Atlantic, I will be looking forward to a Perfect Day at Coco Cay!
  3. Yes, there is a White Party and sometimes a Red Party! Usually it is in the Solarium and starts later at night.
  4. Thank you all for the input! lots to check out... thanks!
  5. Hello! It has been many many years since I have cruised out of Miami. Any advice on where to stay the night prior to departure? something relatively inexpensive but decent? Are there hotels close to the port? thanks in advance... cruise is the end of February... Susan
  6. Are there any themed nights like a white party? No formal nights, right? I am on the June 24th sailing, same itinerary. Did you do traditional dining? If so, were you pleased with the food in the dining room? I was last on Majesty in November 1993 — she will seem small now! How was the motion of the ship? Thank you!
  7. is there a way to watch the news conference at 5pm?
  8. Oh my gosh. This is awful. Thinking about the passengers and crew and rescuers ❤️
  9. HCAT, I think I will pass on the meeting on our Edge sailing. Looking forward to meeting people at Sunset bar at Sailaway. Too many good things happening all at once to risk it!
  10. 2 questions... (first Celeb cruise!) we are on The Edge next Sunday. Will a suitcase fit under the bed? If not, where do most store them? We are in an IV cabin also - I guess we got the Classic beverage package when I booked. They say drinks up to $9 are included. As I understand most drinks and even a glass of wine may be more, do you recommend the Premium? Does that actually cover the cost of a single drink? Thanks! Susan
  11. Thank you so much for the positive review! I have been reading other not so positive reviews and have been having a pitt in my stomach thinking about my 83 year old mom's and my first ever Celebrity cruise the end of January. We are loyal Royal Caribbean cruisers. Question about disembarking... Can you do "self-assist" to get off the ship, meaning you walk off with your own bags in tow as soon as the ship clears customs? I have an early flight back... Thanks and thanks again for taking the time to write all this! Susan
  12. Luckily she is quite spry! I am still undecided on what I will do. Perhaps I’ll wait it out and see if there are any price drops on suites between now and then. Fat chance, I know!
  13. Thank you ~ I called the Captains Club number and inquired. Sunset Verandas are sold out ~ ugh! She did say I could switch to a 1B/1A . I will say she wasn't the most knowledgeable rep as she did not think SV's were on the Edge! As they are guarentee rooms, I'm wondering if there is a chance we would still end up with the Infinite Balcony instead of a true (althoughsmallish) balcony. Assuming SMALL chance we would be able to grab a SV!
