You can make reservations for both of those in your cruise planner online. Just beware you will have to pay up front for the reservations.

They now allow Grand Suite guests access to the Havana area

On the Vista the hallway on the port side does have a door to the bar. Starboard side does not.

Just off the Breeze and our our stewardess almost sounded embarrassed to ask if we wanted morning or evening. I told her both and she said that would be fine. I don't know if it makes a difference, but we were in a suite and we had this nice lady take care of our cabin on a previous cruise. Jenny did an excellent job.

Deck 9 does have an overhang above it, however deck chairs scraping on Lido could be a problem if that sort of thing bothers you.

Cheers must be bought for the whole trip.

Also, the doors can be very difficult to open due to the wind blowing.

I never thought I'd see a price drop on an OS, but we've gotten $200 off and $100 OBC for our October cruise!

Last year we booked ES for an 8N aft balcony on the Magic. Of course the category sold out. About 2 months before the cruise, Carnival ran a sale and I noticed that the 8P spa balconies were going for less than what we paid for our aft. I turned in the form and noted that fact and that I did not want to upgrade but would like a credit. They replied that they could not honor the 8P price, but "found" a price for the 8N that gave us $150 OBC. You can get credit even if the category is sold out.

Heading there on the Magic 10/5/14.
