I have cut down on eating out at restaurants on land and use the money saved to spend on cruises.

Phenergan works very well for me. One 25mg pill every night before bed(they cause drowsiness), starting two days before the cruise. Also works well for mal-disembarkment syndrome.

How good is the wine on board? Do they have a good selection or should I bring my own and pay the corkage?

My partner and I dined twice at the Crown grill twice in November on the Grand out of Melbourne. I read the review you refer to in your op and had a similar experience.
The steaks were average, not up to the standard advertised (lacking taste and texture). More like what you would get at a good RSL or a local pub. We brought nice red wine with us (corkage prepaid) and had to ask for red wine glasses on both occasions. The wait staff seemed stressed and rushed which did not make for a relaxed atmosphere. They also gave me the wrong starter lol. I put this down to a lack of staff due to quarantine maybe? Who knows YMMV.
My top tip is to ensure your table is not near the kitchen (the first time we were walk-ins and the only available table was near the kitchen) because it is very smokey. It seems they have extractor fan issues.

I need that shirt A former coworker gave me a Love Boat shirt that I think is an unlicensed knock off because it mostly looks like the love boat logo, but kind of not.
I bought it off ebay Australia

I did a tour of the mud spas a few years ago with cruise tours Tauranga and they were excellent. Easy pick up from port, great commentary and we returned with plenty of time to spare.

I usually bring my manual lever coffee machine (flair) on cruises. I use a battery operated grinder and fill my thermos with hot water from the bar. I have never had problems with security because nothing connects to the power points.
When I cruised NCL, I brought my own filter papers and coffee beans that were compatible with the coffee maker provided in the balcony room.
I will be bringing single use bottles of oil on my next cruise for my bread, instead of butter.

There is a pickup point at the terminal. It is a bit tricky through the Rocks, but just click this google maps link and follow directions directions.

It's $130 per person with matched wines. On the last voyage, they took names down but did not go ahead with it.
