I haven’t had a bad cabin. On my Dream Cruise we cruised during Mardi Gras. Unfortunately we booked late and ended up with an adjoining door. The next door was a cabin full of kids, smaller kids. Every time we were in the cabin you would hear the kids screaming, running and slamming open the balcony door. Then at bedtime you would hear the same kids and their father threatening them if they didn’t go to bed. That was the only time we had an issue with an adjoining room.

We loved it. The duck appetizer and pork belly were great. Two of us couldn’t eat everything they brought us. The Creme brûlée was really good.

I start my Alchemy drinks with a quick fix. Then whatever the mixologist makes me off menu.

I didn’t stay strict to WW on my 7 day earlier this week. I just watched what I ate didn’t over eat. I usually gain during a cruise. I am now working off the 4 pounds I gained. But it was worth it.

I saw them in the lamps in March. Didn’t use them though.

Scarlet was early/late on my March 2019 cruise.

Although, it's my fourth Carnival cruise, I have never had anytime dining. Our docs says 5:45-9:30. Can someone tell me how this works? For grins sake, we would like to eat at 6:00pm. for example. Do we just show up at 6:00? I would really prefer a set dining time each day, we love the MDR, but it wasn't available.
Thanks!
This will be our first cruise we’re we couldn’t wait list early. So we are going to run with ATD and try some of the alternate choices for dinner.

We just experienced this two weeks ago. The Vista, Magic, and dream were docked next to each other. On the other side of the Magic were two royal Caribbean ships docked next to each other. When we came in there were two ships docked downtown.

We booked a week ago. We were waitlisted for early. It was cleared the next day. Received 2 emails and confirmed on the booking.

Yes we did the Magic out of Galveston 3 years in a row. Two years were the same itinerary. Surprisingly all 3 years we ended up in the same cabin.

Not since they only seem to offer discounts on guarantees.

After two days on our first cruise I discovered the ability to limit spending for my son. In 2 days he’d spent nearly $60 in the arcade. He was 12. Every cruise since then, I’ve set a weekly spending limit and when it’s reached he’s cut off.

Great review so far. As a fellow World of Warcraft player I want to welcome you to your new addiction.

What size are the large insulated cups? If you took your own on board what size did you take?
The yeti type cup is 24 oz. maybe a bit more.

I bought the "yeti" type cup they were selling with endless bubbles. Was $24 and they filled it with 2 cans of soda. Fresh cans too. No flat stuff.

On my last Magic cruise in February they had two different tumblers. The standard doesn't hold much tumbler and a yeti style tumbler that holds 2 cans of soda plus ice. And yes, they filled it with 2 cans each time. It ran about $20 bucks and keeps ice/drink cold for up to 24 hours.

I guess I was just more thinking about the average 18 year old who works and has their own money. The person is adult and I was thinking you wouldn't let an adult spend their own money. Sure I can understand if it's your money, only giving them $X amount.
It's all good. He had only turned 18 three weeks earlier and was still a high school senior.

My stepson will be 18 this school year. He primarily lives with his mom. She does not allow him to work, as school is him main focus. Therefore he doesn't have his own money, we would definitely put a limit on him if he was to go with us on a cruise (or any vacation for that matter).

Exactly. My son had turned 18 three weeks earlier and didn't work. I used it as a learning tool as I always do. When we first started cruising he'd burn through his money in 2 days. This way he has learned to manage it better. Which is teaching him budgeting. Now that he has his first job I am teaching him how to save and not spend all his money in one fell swoop.

I must say, I am perplexed at an 18 year old adult with a limit.
When it's my money and not his? Why are you perplexed?

If you decide to eat dinner in San Juan there are some really good choices. Or. Have a late lunch and skip dinner. You can get some really filling meals. I highly recommend the mufungo.
