  1. Yes, you just have to cancel your medallion order and then order it again with the shipping. Your only consideration is that you shouldn’t forget to carry it with your passport/id as it won’t help you much if you pack it in your suitcase.
  2. Perhaps my over generalization. Some brands did rise above the $15 mark and I assume due to inflation more than anything else. we just booked another cruise on the Sun princess for summer 2024. Even with the plus package princess is still a good vacation value.
  3. (Not discussing premium wines) The price of a glass of wine was about $7-9 before covid. Then the plus package was introduced with a drink limit of $12/drink. At the same time the price of wine went up to $9-12 with some wines discontinued limiting choices for plus. Some wines then were increased to $13-18 that were at the start just $12. Then the new plus was introduced to offer drinks to $15. Behold the wine choices narrowed further. Basic choice for plus and some ok wines at $16-22. Now we have the revised plus and premier drink packages so I am assuming the house wines will be $15 and the choice wines should rise to $18-25/glass. Up charges are still the name of the game on cruises. By the way. The bar alcohol has seen the same game played. Basic brands for plus. Better brands available to premier
  4. Water bottles, coffees, and sodas add up so even if you don’t drink 4 drinks x 2 packages, for a couple in a stateroom,a day the joy is knowing if you don’t like or don’t finish a drink you can order another. I’ve compared plus and premier and still think plus is the best value. We just pay any up charge if we order something above the $15.00. Usually there’s some good wine choices at $16-$20 for the premier package but between 2 persons we don’t need to spend $40.00 more. If they start cheeping out on the bar alcohol (ie no name vodka/gin/rum/tequila/whiskey) I may have to change my mind then. My support to princess is they are also trying to address people buying basic and not wanting to pay the gratuities to support the staff. The more people opt in to the packages , staff benefit, and services should improve
  5. Yup. Unlimited drinks and the coffee card could be used for gelato. They also had cans of iced coffee (Illy)
  6. When you view your travel summary (I always print it when I book to ensure it doesn’t change it in error). On about thr 3rd page look for “special services” followed by “onboard credits for this booking “. After that should be the charges and what you have paid and what you owe.
  7. Yup. Eventually you should either get a reply or follow up. They don’t always write back until they have a corporate approval to say something
  8. customerrelations@princesscruises.com Send a message. It’s the best way to be heard. Write a polite letter explaining your concerns, what you like about the changes at what is not so good. Discussion, and complaints in forums is ok but don’t forget to actually be counted.
  9. As a Canadian traveller, I never had any complaint with the check in at the port without having received our medallions ahead of arrival. As we are elite guests and sometimes in a suite they had priority lanes for us once we passed the security checkpoint. Would be nice to know they still have priority benefits for us even if we are in the blue lane. Still no option as of august 12 for shipping medallions outside USA and Puerto Rico. We sail in November and January. Perhaps they’ll solve their implementation soon.
