  1. It was a fabulous experience! Really happy Cruise Critic could see it first hand.
  2. Also a nice Q and A with John Delaney, master welder: https://www.cruisecritic.co.uk/news/4626/

  4. Just a note that I'll be in Palermo to cover the beginning of the lengthening process this week. Stay tuned!

  8. Another article on Monaco Grand Prix cruising: https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=4174 Also I have a review up on Star Pride. Next year, the line will be using Wind Surf so it doesn't really apply. https://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/review.cfm?ShipID=723
  9. Here's an article I put together on the different cruise options: https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=4069&cache=reset
  10. Cruise Critic was at the press conference - here's our story: https://www.cruisecritic.com/news/3962/
  11. I am going on this cruise for Cruise Critic in May, so I'll be writing lots of content. Bringing my dad -- it's on his bucket list! I have researched the other Grand Prix cruises and what makes Windstar different is that it's a true "theme cruise," where everyone onboard goes to the event. On the other lines, it's offered as an extra shore excursion, usually for quite a bit of money.
  12. Cruise Critic went to the shipyard where American Queen Steamboat Company has been refurbing the two Victory Cruise Lines ships it has bought, as well as American Countess, which is coming in 2020. Also info about Ocean Victory, a ship that it's chartering in Alaska for 2021: https://www.cruisecritic.com/news/3714/
  13. Wanted to make sure Oceania passengers saw our coverage from some recent events. We toured Insignia in New York (after the refurb) and also took part in a Dom Perignon experience that is rolling out on Riviera and Marina this month. Questions, let me know!
  14. Hm. Going on SDII over Thanksgiving this year (2019) and now wondering. It's a wine voyage so I thought that might ward off some of the kiddos......
  15. Was told today by the Emerald rep that we *might* be able to sail the entire itinerary, Budapest to Nuremberg. My parents, who are also taking this trip, were told the same thing by their travel agent. Will let you know what the final word is when I get on the ship Saturday in Budapest. Just booked a ruin pub tour for Friday night and a massage/bath ticket for Gellert. Will definitely pack a raincoat.
