  1. Suppose that on the Harmony Grease is offered at 7:15 and 9:30. Can I reserve a seat on both performances and go to one and skip the other? I know that seems like I would be taking someone else’s seat at the one that I didn’t go to,but they would give that seat to someone who didn’t have a reservation.
  2. Is there anywhere free we can get them? Do they ever show up in Windjammer? Can the MDR accommodate this request (guessing no)? Things I figured out from searching: No Playmakers on Harmony Johnny Rockets has them but not free (is it worth $12.99 just for rings? Maybe, as a last resort...) If you have any other suggestions I'd appreciate it!
  3. Hi there, I see cabin 6585 on the Harmony is right above Boleros. For those who have previously stayed in this cabin, how was the noise in the evening? For those who have previously stayed at 6568, is the bed closer to the bathroom or balcony? Thanks in advance!
  4. I'm crusing with my parents on a Harmony OTS in a CLS (our first ever suite!!) And I was wondering how comfy the sofa bed is. Would it be good enough to sleep in it for a week? What about the pillow menu? Does that apply to the sofa bed as well? Thanks!
  5. Was looking at royal up and the Junior suite is reasonable price compared to any other suite. I wouldn't normally consider the JS because if I upgrade it is more for perks than the bigger room. However, its too much more for any other suite and not much more to bid on junior suite that I might be able to get value out of just the 1 perk, but I have a couple of questions please. 1st, I know you can get just dinner at coastal kitchen if available. So if when I 1st got on the ship, I went up and asked if I can reserve a table for 6pm each day for example, would this likely be agreed? or will I need to check every day if they have availability and sometimes get turned away? 2nd, when I was on symphony which is the same class, the suite lounge is attached, so drinks where included in with Coastal Kitchen. Is this the same for junior suite guests? 3rd, I haven't seen that suite lounge is included so does this mean we cannot go in suite lounge part, even if we have just finished our meal and wanted to chill with a drink for half hour? I guess what I am trying to work out is if I can with preplanning, make perfect use of Coastal Kitchen at dinner time no different than If I was in a suite and make the most of drinks through that time so I could save on a package. Thank you! Harmony of the seas in August from Miami
  6. Sailing in a suite on Harmony January 2024, looking for MDR, Coastal Kitchen, and Chops Grill wine lists. I have tried searching on CC but no luck ( I probably am not using the search function correctly, but after 10 minutes trying, I’m done).
  7. Anyone happen to have the cruise compass for the Harmony of the seas May 27th 2023?
  8. Going on the Harmony in Sept. what is the current Broadway Show?
  9. Looking at going on the Harmony in September - is Grease still playing on this ship? Thanks
  10. Hello! I just got off the Harmony this past weekend, and I really liked the Elevator Piano player. We vibed really well and discussed starting a band... however I did not get his name. Has anyone recently picked up his card he leaves on his piano?
  11. I've downloaded episodes from Amazon Prime Video to my laptop (Win11Pro) and my iPhone (iOS 15.4.1). I will travel with an HDMI cable and Apple adapter with M:Lightening to F: HDMI & Lightening. Will I be able to connect to the TV? Could I do so by casting instead of cable? If you can give specific help, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
  12. Considering a Jan. 2024 cruise on Harmony from Galveston. Myself and DH, mid-60's. Largest ship we've been on so far is Liberty and Adventure (as well as Serenade), so Harmony's size gives me pause. Is the Windjammer totally packed all the time or because there are more places to eat, do the crowds level out somewhat?
  13. We are a family of 4 (kids will be 9 years old). Twins and spouse has never been on a cruise before. I am pulling my hair out in trying to choose between the Western Caribbean on Harmony (ports are Galveston, Roatan, Honduras, Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico, Cozumel, Mexico) or Southern Caribbean on Oasis (ports are Miami, Nassau, Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas, Labadee, Haiti, Falmouth, Jamaica). The ports on the western Caribbean seem so much more fun and adventurous, but doesn't stop at CocoCay. Would the kids be ok in the Western ports (both safety and entertaining)? Are we missing out if we don't stop at CocoCay? Are the ships a factor as in one is so much better than the other? Any insight would be very, very helpful. TIA.
  14. Was looking at the Harmony deck plans and cruise planner and just noticed it is now showing a dedicated non-smoking "mini" casino where Jazz of 4 used to be located. I also never noticed before, but it says slot machines are open 24/7 except in restricted ports while the hours of operation are for the tables. Wonder if the mini-casino will have its own bar or whether your will have to walk back to the main casino for a prime drink.
  15. All in all had a great time with a few bumps along the way, week 1 and 3rd had a great wait staff, week 2 not so good, cold food and slow service, moved to the Windjammer after complaining to Head Waiter without results. At the end of week 2 the Captain and several of his officers paid a visit to the Diamond Club, the head of Food and Beverage asked how we were enjoying our cruise, boy did he get a ear full from our group, good news I got comped for a steak dinner. Everyone else had a complaint about the food in the specialty restaurants. After 3 weeks on the ship you really start to notice the cut backs, i.e. Park Cafe no chips, limited sandwiches and deserts, Windjammer, I could write several paragraphs on that, the 24 hour cafe has about 1/2 the offerings, you are getting the idea. As you know the MDR has a new menu, food items are good but if you are not into the night's offering you are out of luck. More later, please feel free to ask questions.
  16. I'm on the Harmony doing a B-3-B and I'm at the end of the first week, having a great cruise with great weather. I plan to do a review when I return home, but please feel free ask any questions you may have about the cruise. But I do have a few thought about this cruise, if you should have a cabin close to Dazzles especially cabins over looking Central Park, don't plan on sleeping before 12:30, the band is loud. There are members of the big eaters club on board, when they show up at Sorento's for pizza they are ask how many, pies not slices. Also, there a a few large groups traveling together, the other day I was waiting for an elevator car and out came two dozen passengers, reminded of a clown car at the circus where a dozens clowns pile out. The food has been surprising good with lots of choices in the Windjammer, ship is very clean, and the help has been fantasist. More later.
  17. Hi, My husband and I are new to RCI, and I’ve looked for an answer to this question to no avail: Is it possible to get a burger on the ship (Harmony of the Seas) somewhere other than the speciality/extra fee dining restaurants?
  18. I'll be on my first-ever Royal Caribbean cruise on the Harmony on April 1 and plan to book a holiday 2023 cruise while on board. It will be for myself, my husband and our son, who will be 16 at the time of the holiday sailing. The ships and itineraries I'm considering are as follows. 19. Hello! Does anyone know which specific menus are on which nights on a 7 day cruise on HOS? I am trying to plan ahead!!! Thanks!
  20. No, we're not taking a cruise to watch TV, but want to know if the stateroom TVs allow you to mirror your phone screen to them? It would be helpful to share photos we've each taken during the day.
  21. I just got back with my GF from Harmony. We sailed on March 29th easter itinerary. I am not good at making reviews so I will be fast. In addition, I rarely do reviews for CC, but I had to do this because I thought service and food were going down. We are Diamond and close to Diamond Plus, the millennial generation, and we were alone without friends or families. Yes, the food at Windjammer is terrible. Everything tasted the same, the dishes were cold, and the presentation could have been better. I loved the ice cream, and the dessert was better than before, but everything looked smaller, and they could have done a better job presenting all the food. No more welcome aboard cake or cupcakes, no seafood day or shrimp. A person even asked the captain in the meet and greet what they broadcast on TV about the shrimps and the cost of additional lobster tails, and he blamed the covid for everything and said that it would take time to be back as they were before. I gave my constructive feedback to the Windjammer manager, whose answer was basically that he was following orders. In other words, that the way the royal want to run his businesses now. I wouldn't say I liked the new menu at the MDR; there is something in the taste that I didn't like; however, the NY steak tastes better. The main dish was cold last night, and sometimes the steak needed to be medium well. The waiter and assistant were professionals, and I could be out of the MDR in less than an hour. I sent four emails requesting a table of two. I had late dining, and guess what? I was transferred to my time. The shows were excellent, and the compass was full of activities. We had two days at sea, and it was packed with activities. The captain was super funny, and I think he is going on vacation today. The cruise director has a lot of experience, but sometimes, in my opinion, that can be annoying since he sounds like a broken record and won't go out of his scripts. The stateroom attendant was terrific, despite his challenges of doing the room only once daily. The diamond club was an in-and-out for me; we could get what we wanted to eat and be out of there in less than 2 mins. Boarding was fast, but we were sent to a different lane because we had a carry-on, which had only one scanner; imagine how slow that lane was while we were looking at the rest of the passengers passing by us in less than a min. I just remembered that employees rarely look at the passengers and forget about the Good Morning or Hi; they seem tired and not looking to interact with passengers. Stateroom attendants will say Hi even if they know you but don't expect the rest to do the same—silent disco, crazy quest, belly flops, zip line, and sexy man can't miss it.
  22. I’ve been searching and googling the crap out of this simple question, and some results say that it’s complimentary for dinner, but others say that there’s a $20pp fee. Can somebody who’s sailed on Harmony of the Seas and dined at the Solarium Bistro tell me what the right answer to this question is? Thanks in advance!
  23. The pre-trip: We just returned from Florida two weeks ago. The guys golfed and the ladies had planned several outings. One lady had a big list of things to do. It was a bit too much walking for me at this time, but we did see eagles at their nests, owls nesting and a mama manatee and her baby. We went down to the Wellington Equestrian Festival and saw the jumping competition. Parking and admission were free and we saw World / Olympic class riders and their horses. The pre-amble: It’s just me and DH this time. DS is in school until June. We were on Harmony back in 2017 when she was about a year old. We had a noisy cabin due to a loose item in the bulkhead (we thought it was our neighbours and they thought it was us)😳. We are going to Costa Maya, Roatan, Cozumel and Coco Cay. All beach days for us. The pre-cruise: We’re flying into Miami on Friday and I hope there is a break in the weather. And that hope is for the Floridians. Looking at the weather, it’s been a deluge with flood warnings. There are Pride events 🌈 in Miami this weekend so I’m hoping that they will have great weather. We’re staying in Brickell and we are hoping to get over to Bayside Market Place for dinner but it may depend on the weather. No problem as there’s lots of places to eat near our hotel.
