UPDATED List of Current Cruise Directors (CD)

Will be sailing Allure in December. Fingers crossed Leigh from Explorer gets reassigned to Allure! Had him as our CD in November and he was GREAT along with Erky!

Any reports of who the CD will be on the Allure after August 17?

Still do not know. Royal Caribbean says that Ken Rush will be back, but Ken says that he will not be back because he is scheduled to go to the shipyard to prepare for Quantum. So, it remains to be seen.

It would be great if someone who is on Allure now or the next sailing could find out from Allan or someone on the activities staff. The best source of info comes directly from the ship, or from the CD's themselves.

We had an Australian cd last year on Indy mike someone does anyone know where he is ? Xx

Mike Hunnerup was on Indy March 15 until May 17, and is on his break now. He does not have a regular ship, but rather fills on different ships when the regular CD there takes a break.

No way of knowing. There are too many possibilities.

I think that there is going to be a lot of reassignments soon, as ships are repositioning and new ships are coming out, and CDs are being shuffled around.

Adventure OTS - Rob McNally started on May 4 (until when? Then who?)

Allure OTS - Allan Brooks started on June 15 until August 17 (then who? - it is likely NOT Ken Rush as he is prepping for the Quantum takeout) Allan expects to be back on Allure for one more contract before moving over to Quantum.

Anthem OTS - Joff Eaton will be taking out the ship and continuing on as its regular CD. Ken Rush will also be onboard for the first 6-8 weeks doing behind the scenes duties to provide a smooth take out

I guess it must be confusing for them also!

I would bet on your info being correct because emails from RCI have been notoriously incorrect. They were actually pretty reliable for a while, but now it seems that they are back to their old tricks and are full of inaccuracies.

I would also bet that Ken is not going to Allure on the 17th. He confirmed himself that he would not be returning because he was due at the shipyard to prep for Quantum's takeout.

This is usually the time of year when we see a lot of movement amongst CDs and shake ups on the ship, so I think you're right in saying that the CDs are probably confused too.

I thought this whole thread was goofy until I had Amy on the Radiance and she did zumba!!
