Talked to a host last night and asked him about the new program. His take - It’s going to be great, especially for people who take numerous cruises per year. This is because now everything is calculated on your last cruise and now it will be cumulative. No other details given.

I was also talking to a host, and yes MUCH better for those who cruise multiple times a year, but if you miss cruising for a year you start off from SCRATCH again...not so good :(

I got an offer a week ago for about 20 free sailings or $1500 off one of my choosing. I already had a booking so I called and removed my 1k certificate and applied the 1500. They did say they have more flexibility with the certificates. I could still call within a year of issue and use it on a different booking. I was happy. The 1500. Off is the highest apply how u want offer I’d ever received.

I received the Enchantment and Mariner offer email and it left me confused. Background: I am a relatively small stakes gambler (minimum bets on UTH or 3 card tables with a little slots mixed in). My end of cruise certificates have been $400 off, $500 off, free inside, and a free ocean view. Confusion: Why offered Junior Suite on these sailings? This is not a complaint just seems odd and leaves me wondering if some parts of the new program have rolled out. All 4 of my RCL cruises have been in the past 16 months.

I just booked a cruise on the Adventure repositioning cruise from San Juan to Bayonne. I think I ireceived a really good price on a GS through Club Royale, (May 5) total of $1425 for 2. This includes tax fees tips and insurance.

great price!

Mine was for ocean view so yours was a better offer. I fell out of the Casino VIP graces for not playing on Presidents Cruise last September. Seems one had to maintain 1000 pts to keep Status. Hopefully new program will be better.

I know someone asked a while for a listing of CR events and I found this magnet they sent to me months ago.

For those of us receiving emails for a comped room, CR said these offers are NOT part of the new program and they have been sending them out every 6 months. Still no updates on their new program yet [emoji45][emoji45][emoji45][emoji45]

We’ve been waiting 2 years for a new program , what’s another few weeks, right [emoji50][emoji50][emoji50]

I did maintain status with my December, 2017 cruise with over 2500 points but did not receive a offer.

I doubt that the fact you have a casino rate would have any impact.

Typically, in the past, if your cruise was a Casino rate Cruise, you would get a Club Royale sticker. On my my recent cruise, a full ship Charter, I didn’t get a sticker because my previous cruise, I didn’t play.

Is is possible you didn't get the sticker because it was a charter?

Totally possible. Casino Host told me I didn’t have a 1000 pts on my previous cruise although the 8 cruises prior to that I had well over 1000 pts per cruise.

Don't you just love the new program ? Only as good as your last cruise regardless of how well you may have done in the past. Totally ridiculous.

Not sure what you mean here, the new program is cumulative points for a year(ish). In the OLD program, you were only as good as your last cruise!

I think the *new* program will hurt us less frequent cruisers. Here is a small example:

Lets say I take a hiatus from cruising (or RCL cruising) for 13 months (that totally includes a point accumulation period). I will only be entitled to get complimentary drinks at the casino and the 5% fee waived after I've accumulated 1000 pts on that cruise. What if my first few days are very port intensive, and I only play an hour of so each night for the first few nights? I'll have to now eat any 5% fee and pay for any drinks from the casino until I reach the 1000 pts, even though in the past they would have looked at the fact my last cruise (eg: RCL gaming history) I accumulated 5-7k in pts. Whereas now, as soon as I get on board, based on my last cruise I'll get the 5% waived and free drinks immediately!

I liked the tiered system in concept, but it definitely benefits the people who cruise more frequently due to the fact that your tier resets annually! Just my $.02

Yes, but you will still need to accumulate at least 1000 points on your last cruise, in order to qualify for the sticker. At least, that is what I was told.
