Timing question

We have two nights in Denali. After our second night we want to whitewater raft. That night we are staying in Talkeenta. Should we raft

at 9:00 am or 2:00 pm? Any pros or cons to either time?

How long is the rafting trip? Are you driving to Talkeetna or on a scheduled bus or train? Do you have plans for things to do in Talkeetna? If you're driving, I would do the rafting in the morning, enjoy the ride to Talkeetna and then spend a little time wandering around Talkeetna.
