If NCL offered completely non-smoking cruises, would you book?

Non smokers are not the ones who intentionally practice an activity that they know has a high probability of causing them serious health issues or death. I am not sure if that is being smarter or not though.

You seem to be forgetting about alcoholics. Go figure.

I wonder if NCL ever looked into having specific cruises be 100% non-smoking? If they did:

1. Would you book one?

2. Would you be willing to pay a premium to book a cruise that was 100% smoke-free?

Nope. I enjoy having a cigar or two while on a cruise. We've already been kicked outside and our lounges rembranded.

It is not the smell that kills.

I know.. but they don’t just use air fresheners, they somehow “remove” a smoke.

Anyway as I wrote before, there can be a compromise... allow smoking on ships, but not inside.

Cunard and Celebrity are already doing this and smokers/non smokers are ok with it.

So you are voting no smoking I see since smokers kill other people this there is no live and LET LIVE.

Smokers don’t kill anybody if they smoke in several areas outside.

By the way I know smokers who hate smoky casinos.

NO

I find the designated smoking areas on the ship more fun and the people hanging out there are friendlier than in the non-smoking areas.

JMO, so please don't quote me ;)

  • 2 months later...

I pick my trips based on cost, itinerary, & available cabin type, not necessarily in that order. I am not "loyal" to any one cruise line. I use the above criteria and book the line that meets my wants/needs. If I was down to two options that met the aforementioned criteria (all amenities, etc. being equal) and one was non-smoking and the other wasn't. I would pick the non-smoking.

YES! Smoking is a filthy habit!
