2 day FLASH SALE 19 / 20 March for Pacific Jewel , May sailings out of Auckland. ..from $69 .00 NZ per day.

Should have been 19/20th April, (should have gone to specsavers), however you can forget that sale.....another news flash through today and you can now cruise from $65 per day.

Maybe not "el cheapo", but the current Celebrity sale caused us to cancel and rebook our cruise in December. Lost our deposit (which was from an earlier on-board booking with OBC which we had already taken), and saved over $1000. And upgraded from a deck 8 1C to a deck 10 C2 on the hump in the process. Prices are down for the Celebrity December cruises (SYD-AKL and return) - certainly compared to 6-12 months ago..

Its a real buggar living in Melbourne when the cruising season is only October to March if you don't want to add a airfare. Some good bargains out of Sydney.

I would agree with that!!

Hi everyone- Imma 'newbie' and wondering if there is an easier way to compare prices to find the best deal on a certain cruise as al I seem to do is miss the specials whilst trying to find them!

There are several things that you can do.

1. Marry a travel agent who specialises in cruises.

2. Google "cruise travel agents" and go through them manually until you find one that is consistently cheaper and then keep checking that site.

3. Get on the email lists of all the cruise lines and the better travel agencies.

4, Decide on a particular cruise and watch the price obsessively. Buy when the price seems right, but be philosophical if the price then goes down.

5 Be prepared to go at short notice for a last minute cruise.

The first one is the most reliable.

Welcome to Cruise critic. Just subscribe to all the online cruise agencies, travel agents websites and cruise line websites and be prepared to get a lot of email and junk. Monitor the prices of the cruises you like and then book as soon as you are happy with the deal as they do not last long.

The balcony's are not large on the Pacific Explorer but that is a great price.

Most cruises I’d be happy with a French balcony, or even just floor to circling window, preferably that opens

Have you sailed P&O here in Pacific? What do you think?

Ovation OTS 9 nights Pacific $899 Balcony. 14th Nov 2018 Plus $100 OBC.

Not combinable with C&A balcony discount. Not a great itinerary with an Overnight in Noumea (wny?) but love the ship so I have booked.

Best balcony price I have seen for Ovation.
