Your offer is not for a free cruise

It's for Casino rate.

Yes but my rate is let's, say free, so we have called CR and pretty much taxes and fuel is all we will pay.

Anyways who cares.

Just posting offers, you have anything interesting to offer this thread?

It's for Casino rate.

This thread isn't just for free cruise offers, but instead for all offers received.

What we're trying to provide here is an opportunity to share the news about offers that Club Royale is offering so that those who aren't receiving the promotional mailings (email or post) can find out about them and, if they're interested, can call Club Royale to see whether that offer is available to them as well.

Did anyone got and book this offer?

What a fantastic offer you received, lucky you. Of course we all know that nothing is free. No, I did not received that offer at all :(. I don't receive emails from CR at all, occasionally will receive some snail mail offers. At times I'll receive an offer a week or two after others have received theirs. I guess if CR does not get enough people taking them up on some of their mailings/offers, they'll open it up to other CR members. I have already taken CR up on 4 offers this year (2 free cruises, one at 25% and the other at 40%), maybe the other 2 would have been free if I did not select a GS, so I can't complain.

I did call CR this morning on 11/30/15 Anthem sailing and the best they can do is offer me 20% off the cruise fare on a balcony guarantee room. I'll wait a month a two and call them again and see if they can do better than 20% since we still have 5 cruises booked for the rest of this year.

Club Royale told me the casino "rates" are the same for all members....for higher qualified play, they offer some cruises 50%off or free.

I don't understand how they calculate the casino rates as some cruises I get for free, others are 20%, 25% or 40% off. I feel something is better than nothing.

That's a great offer! I hope you can take advantage of it.

I got an offer from Club Royale by calling them. They're offering a balcony cabin

on a 5-night Bermuda cruise on Liberty of the Seas out of Cape Liberty (Bayonne) on October 17. It's their $10,000 slot tournament cruise, so maybe I'll get really lucky. :)

I mention this offer because I was told that sometimes they have offers available and they don't send out notices about them. I found out by calling and simply asking what was available to me. Most of the offers were discounts, but for some reason, this cruise came up as comped.

I agreed with you Marc as back in March I was offered a free cruise on Allure, took them up on it but never received anything in the mail, only when I called they told me I was eligible for that cruise, I thank Graham for the heads up on that cruise.

I see both you and Nick will also be on Liberty 10/17/15 sailing, so will I. Wouldn't it be great if the top 3 slot tournament winners are all CR members.

If your doing a poker crawl for the 17th, I'd be interested. I'm not part of the M&M or Roll Call, you can email me at (HEARTLCRC@AOL.COM), we're in a GS doing a B2B with the sailing after that.

Good Luck to all of us in the casino and I'll see you all on board :)

Here's an offer that a friend of mine received. Note - he's not a Club Royale member (he's not even earned 200 points during a week-long cruise, nevermind 2,000), but somehow he's ended up on their mailing list for promotions. He did win a cash prize in a slot tournament once, so perhaps that got Club Royale's interest.

A friend of mine received the same offer and I was told by CR they are trying to get more people into their CR program.

Would there be non-Club Royale members participating? I guess if someone's willing to pay the $150 entry fee, then they can spin with the rest of us.

I'm not the one who suggested doing the poker crawl. That was Sweebee.

That makes sense. I was told by Club Royale when I called that they'd be sure to let the casino onboard know that my friend was going to be there as well so they could monitor his play. I thought that was kind of funny because, like I said, he's just not a big player and won't accumulate enough points to be of interest to them.

Still, he does like the attention he receives when he's with me. :)

I would guess that others can join in for $150. The next time I talk to CR, I'll ask them about it.

My husband likes the attention too.

I'll check out the roll call, thanks :)

Linda, look forward to seeing you on the 10/17/15 roll call. We could use your GS in our Poker Crawl.

It's a mystery how they come up with the exclusive Casino rates. I believe they are starting to hand our Free Cruise Certs. right there in person to get visibility to others and to create excitement. People will be clammoring to find out how THEY can get a free cruise too. That's just my guess anyway.

Yes that would be great if WE got top 3 in the slot tournament lol.

I will be on the October 17th sailing as well and in the tournament. Interesting note that my brother-in-law just received an email for the tournament and his casino "rate" is free. Though they just got back from Allure in the Mediterranean so they aren't going. It was his first notice about this sailing.

The roll call for this cruise is looking at doing poker/cabin crawl. We have offered up our owner's suite. I don't think anything is official yet....meaning no one has stepped up to organize it yet....lol

Nick

No problem offering my room for the Poker crawl and looking forward to meeting you and the other CR members [emoji3]

I may have to re think this crawl over. The CR members are welcome to see our cabin, just not interested in a cabin crawl with everyone. This went from a Poker crawl to a cabin crawl .

Received this offer on virtually any Anthem Sailing

I have chosen to leave out the bottom portion as it contains personal data.

DW Called and we can pretty much go on whatever sailing we wish and at a steal.

(Sharon, Linda will email you the details)

With just getting off the Ryndam HAL and Liberty and Allure coming up, not sure we can fit in yet, as we also have the Presidents cruise to think about also doing.

Graham,

Did you book it for Anthem November 30th, 15?

Once again, my friend got promotional mail from Club Royale. The kicker? They sent it to my email address.

So, let me get this straight. I can't receive promotional emails from Royal Caribbean that are intended for me, but I can receive them for my friend who has somehow managed to get my email address into his Club Royale profile (and he's not even a Club Royale member)?

Sigh...

Marc. How could they offer a free cruise to someone who's not even a CR member? Was it actually intended for HIM? When did he last sail?

I wonder if I am calling CR on other business, will they automatically tell me I have an offer I'm eligible for or do I need to ask if I'm eligible for a specific offer. ? I may have to call and see if I can get the offer U just posted lol

Yeah, it's for him. It's got his full name in the email. In the previous email I saw for him, it even had a player ID number that wasn't my Club Royale number. (The Club Royale person didn't know what the ID number was, though.)

He last sailed with me on Independence of the Seas in March.

No, I don't think they'll automatically tell you, but you can simply ask, "What offers do you have available for me?" They'll look you up in their system and can tell you what's listed in their system for you. That's what I did to find out about the October cruise on Liberty of the Seas.

I just received this offer in the postal mail as a very cute card that kind of pops up when you open it.

Alas, my "exclusive casino rate" was pretty minimal of a discount. (In my quick calculations, I didn't even see a discount, but I may have missed something.)

The only other offer I had available was 25% off the casino rate for the $25,000 Casino Royale Masters Slot Tournament on Allure of the Seas, November 8, 2015.

Meanwhile, this representative said that she was going to double-check to see whether there are any flags against my profile that might be preventing the promotional emails.

I called CR today to make a payment and I was on hold a record 45 minutes before I was connected to anyone. Last 3 times I called I waited 30-35 minutes. This is getting ridiculous. What's ALSO getting ridiculous is theyre busy giving away free cruises to Non CR people and who knows how little these people even cruise!! Someone like me who cruises 8-10x/year and gambles at the level they want (but I'm probl on the low end compared to many CR members) should be a higher priority IMO. If you compare someone who may cruise even twice a year compared to me. I play way more since I will be on 8-10 cruises.

The new program should be interesting but it seems right now they are doing a lot of testing of the waters

I am 90% table player and as I know they calculated your bet (how much per bet) / Your average bet /how many hands/ how many hours you playing. Also they calculated your win/lost and cash or chips goes in. They looking very closely to your play (checking every 10mns) your bet and monitor when you are playing green or black.

Also if you are going for bathroom or smoke they put you time on hold.

Yup and I always make sure to reconcile with them every day to make sure I don't get short changed, which I got one time on EN.

I received the same pop-up card that you received, "Go All in and All Out", it was kind of a cute invite. I called CR again today, my mailing was for Anthem, any 2015 sailing except 11/30/15 which was printed very small on the back of the card. I called and the casino rate was the lowest I was ever offered, 10%. . The other day when I called them, they offered me 20% off 11/30/15.

Nick I agree with you about offering free cruises to non CR members. We also cruise quite often each year and CR said they are targeting other people in the hopes they will become members of CR. Even though CR is offering a free cruise to non CR members, if these people take them up on a free cruise and don't gamble enough, there won't be any more free cruises for them, imo.

In March on Allure, I met a woman who was given a free cruise in a suite and has not taken any cruises in the past 10 years, she was a CR member.

Linda, how could a person who hasn't cruised in 10 years be a member of CR? I thought at some point of inactivity you're membership sunsets?

I was told when I was invited to join that once you're invited and join Club Royale, your membership remains. What would change is the level of offers depending on your recent play.

I bet that'll change when they roll out their new plan. Membership in the program will probably be available to more people, but their status level will reset periodically.

I got the pop up today for the anthem. No discounts mentioned, but my last 3 cruises have been a free balcony room. I am and have been on hold with club royale for 35 minutes as of right now. It will be interesting to see what they offer me. As stated I am also one of those that never get emails. only paper mailings. I have resigned myself to calling and just asking about my offers.

Nick, I see that Marc did respond to you, thank you Marc.

I agree with Marc in that membership will be available to more and more people in the future and feel our offers will still depend on our level of play.

I still can not comprehend why some of us """still""" do not get CR emails even though they have the correct email address. I don't even get any RCI emails and we take quite a few cruises with them each year. We do get Celebrity's weekly emails and our last cruise with them was about 3 years ago.
