mountain maid Posted August 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Other than no tub in 4166 are there any differences between the two rooms? Both are available for the cruise we are planning. The lack of a tub doesn't matter to us unless it indicates that there is a significant difference in the size of the room.
sue1898 Posted August 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2014 You will find pictures of 4166 (none of bathroom) here that may be of interest: http://halfacts.com/4166-westerdam-v/ Halfacts.com is a wonderful resource!
RuthC Posted August 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Although I can't speak specifically to these two rooms, I can say that normally, the only difference between cabins with tub vs. shower is in the bathroom itself. The bathroom is the same size, but the placement of the bathing fixture and the sink is reversed. The sink/vanity area, and the storage beneath, is larger when the room has only a shower. Mar56 Posted August 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2014 I believe there is an ice machine right beside 4164 which is why we took 4166 on the Noordam in January. The large balcony was wonderful.
