TA crossing sea days

Considering our first Costa cruise...a TA Europe to South America. (Been cruising several years throughout the world but never on Costa.

All our crossings have been on HAL who has a wide choice of sea day activities. Does Costa have sea day activities like speakers, art, crafts, wine/beer tastings, movies, etc during a crossing?

Is there a library?

Costa TAs do have activities, but maybe not so intense as HAL. Never seen a speaker (i.e. naturalist) mainly because of the languages (i.e. Trivia could be in 5 languages, Italian, Spanish, German, French, English). If the captain is giving a talk about the ship, then the language hostess will translate for the audience.

There are libraries on Costa ships, but the selection leaves a lot to be desired, multi-language choice tends to make the selection for a particular language very small. This is where a Kindle comes into it's own.

Thank you. I didn't think about the multiple languages - that would cause a problem with the speaker.

I normally travel with my kindle but sometimes grab a book from the library for something different. Good to know they have the library.

I did a TA on the Costa Favolosa this Spring.

I was really impressed with the library. Lots of books especially in comparison to other lines these days.

We did have a speaker who was actually very good. She did talks in English at certain times.

Trivia was fun. Questions in several languages.
