MSC Kid's Club / Kids around the clock charges

Our boys will be 8 and 10 when we sail on the Seaside next year. They have sailed Carnival and NCL on 7 other cruises and absolutely love both kid's programs. I am a bit nervous as to how MSC's kid's program will compare. I see that there is a "Kid's around the clock" program that says there is a small fee after the regular free hours. Does anyone know how much that charge is or if there are many kids still in the club after normal hours?

Recently on Divina you could pay $6 per hour, $10 per session (3 hours), or $50 for a week full of sessions. I don't know if there is a discount for siblings. Sessions start at 11pm.

The free kids club activities run until around 11pm most nights, and the big shows are done by then. Could be useful if you're looking to go out dancing or casino, etc. if you're concerned about some of the smaller lounge shows kids are generally welcome, most of the onboard entertainment is geared around music, crowd participation, dancing.

Also the buffet started serving fresh baked cookies at 1030pm just so your kids know.

Now this was all on the Divina, could be differences with Seaside but I'd guess they'd be run similarly.

Ive posted this before elsewhere, but we had a great experience on the Divina with the kids club. We were concerned initially as well...but both of my kids (5 at the time) loved it. They took them to dinner some nights and even took them to the shows in the theatre (they had better seats than my wife and I did) :). The kids club isnt as flashy as Disney (of course) or NCL, BUT the young women they had working there were fantastic. The Seaside being new, of course, there is a lot that is left to be seen, but they seem to be building an even larger kids area and of course the new water area as well. We are going on the Seaside in March and my kids cant wait to see Doremi again. :)

Jumping into this thread late but need advice and info, please! This is our first cruise with the kids. They are 11 and 15, and we'll be on Seaside in December.

What is the sign up procedure for the Kids Clubs? Long lines the first day? (Is it even available the first day?) Best way to sign up? Do you think they'll take kids to the water park on Seaside or do more activities in the club area? Does the 15 year old need to be signed in/out by us every time? Thinking if we're at dinner, and she's done...can she go on her own? I know I'd want her accompanied, but she's at that independent age, lol.

Coming back from a cruise with the Meraviglia. From 7 years you can allow your child to sign in/out by himself, so he can walk around the ship. On european cruises the club close at 11PM. I didn't saw "kids around the clock" but it could be different for US cruises.

And on the first day usually you don't have long lines. The seaside is a new one so everything is bigger and more organised than with the older MSC ships. They took the children to eat in the evening each day at the buffet (with a dedicated place) and they sometimes go in the theatre.
