2018 World cruise

Could someone on board tell me who the Captain, HD, CD and F & B manager are.

We are not on board but my parents are. Captain di Stefano, CD Fernando and sorry I can’t help with F&B! 105 World cruisers.

If the missile was fake, why have an alert? ;)

Actually 108 WCs according to the WC guest list. F&B mgr is Djamal Derouiche. Gilbert is Restaurant mgr & Biljana Apostolovic is head sommelier. Service has been outstanding and food excellent - some of the best fish I have ever had. A little empty as there are only about 270 guest on this leg - 10 sea days out of 16.

If the missile was fake, why have an alert? ;)

We are booked on next year's cruise which sails in a mere 357 days! If anyone on board the 2018 cruise can find the time for the occasional post as you go along I am sure it will be much appreciated, not least by us. :)

It was a screwed up operation by the State of Hawaii. The Governor there announced that this employee who caused the problem will not be fired. He will be "re-trained".

Good luck to those on this world cruise. Look forward to reading more reports and details from the different segments from this "adventure".

We are getting excited as we board in a little over 4 weeks. So much to do between now and then. Hope you enjoy all those sea days. It is in the high teens in the DC area right now.

We board the Whisper on the same day. Will you be docked in White Bay? We get to Sydney on the 16th and will be at the Intercontinental. How about you? Would love to get together while we're there.

We are docked in White Bay, but don’t arrive till that day, the 20th, as that is all the time I can get off from work.
