Question about B2B cruise

I have done b2b cruises before but don't remember. How does the folio work? We are staying in the same cabin. We have OBC too for both cruises (more so for the 1st one). If we don't use up the OBC from the first cruise will it carry over to the 2nd one?

Also, if I don't use up all the OBC can I go into the casino, put down a few hundred dollars, gamble a few dollars and then cash out and receive most of the few hundred dollars back in cash? Never did this before (haven't been in a casino in years) so not sure how it works.

On our B2B cruises our folio balance was transferred to the next cruise. During the initial cruise we go to the PSD to confirm that will be the procedure.

We’ve never had any non-refundable OBC remaining so don’t know about the casino option.

We were on a B2B2B last winter. I seem to remember that the folio was just held till the last one was over. They now have a kiosk where you can print up your charges during the cruise, just to keep track if you desire to do so.

Towards the end of the last one, we went to the passenger service desk to see how much on-board credit was left and how much was non refundable. I then went to the casino and played a few slots and exited with the non refundable credit in my hands. The rest, we just let them send us. We didn't want to look too greedy! :rolleyes:

On all our b2b cruises staying in the same stateroom, the folio was opened on the first cruise and closed at the end of the second cruise. Our remaining OBC, refundable, from the first cruise was applied to the second cruise. Princess treated the b2b as one cruise for folio purposes. We did get some OBC refunded (did not tell the DW as she would have spent it on board) a few times. They sent a check a few weeks later in a non-descriptive envelope that looks like junk mail so be on the alert. The first time I almost threw it away! :eek:

Exactly as above--our OBC rolled over from one cruise to the next. Our internet minutes also rolled over (if daughter had any remaining). We were advised that we might have to visit the gentleman in the internet cafe to make this happen. She did add a second package for the second cruise, and had to see him to add the bonus minutes.

We have had it done both ways. Most of the time the stateroom folio and credits have been transferred to the second cruise but once, despite receiving the form letter on the first cruise saying it would, it was closed out at the end of the first cruise. Once this was done we were told there was no way to correct it. We did not have any OBC to transfer on that cruise.

Thanks. Our OBC are all nonrefundable. (Promotion, FCD, and there will be shareholder credit). I think it will add up to $850. Gratuities are free because of 3 for free. I don’t know if the excursions we take will use it up as I also have a couple of private tours and some of the other places we have already been.

We have used the casino to recover our OBC. We used the extra cash for additional tips but regardless it beats waiting for a check.

We have not done that but we have cruised with aquatints who do that. They run and cash out $1000 multiple times during a 10 day cruise.

I had the same experience & the return address showing from Bottomline certainly appeared to be junk mail.

The last one we received said a company name with Princess Cruises right under it.
