Liberty or Sensation..

Hi there-

Husband and I are looking to do a short cruise on Carnival. This will be our third cruise on Carnival. We have sailed the Imagination and Ecstasy. We are trying to decide between Liberty and Sensation. Seem very similar as far as features go. Any options are welcome.

I'd pick the Liberty any day over the Sensation. Much nicer, bigger ship with more amenities. Accommodations on categories higher than an inside will also be better (for example, oceanview staterooms on Sensation are 185sq ft while they are 220sq ft on the Liberty). Also, because Liberty has a considerably larger number of balcony staterooms, they are usually more affordable than on the Sensation. Finally, your past experiences have only been on Fantasy class ships which the Sensation is also a part of. I'd give the Liberty a shot just to try something new.

You will like the Liberty. It is a big change from the Fantasy class ships.

I love the old Fantasy Class ships, they're my favorite, but I realize that most people enjoy the newer and bigger ships. So I think you would probably enjoy Liberty more.
