Port Imperial Ferry to Manhattan...

Has anyone parked at the Port Imperial ferry terminal to cruise out of Manhattan? Is the savings worth it?

Folks have parked at Port Imperial. It looks like you are on a 14 day cruise, so it would cost you $400 to park at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal plus a $15 tunnel/bridge toll if you have to cross tge Hudson. The suggestion has been to drop one person off at the ferry terminal with the luggage before parking the car. Covered garage parking is available.

Other options for a long cruise would be the park/sleep/cruise packages at the Hilton Gardens and Hampton Inn in Ridgefield Park, NJ

Couple more questions. How do you access the cruise terminal walking? Is there access from street level or is there another way That I can't see on the map?

You can walk up 12th Ave. NY waterways also runs free bus service in Manhattan that can get you closer to the cruise terminal - http://www.nywaterway.com/UserFiles/Files/Peak%20Bus%20Map.pdf. Taxi is always an option too.

I may go this route. Witch hotel would you recommend for parking purposes? Hilton Gardens or Hampton Inn in Ridgefield Park?

Another option is a Park/sleep at Newark Airport and train to Manhattan plus cab to the cruise terminal.

Trinityreservations.com - $156 tax included for hotel room and 14 days parking at the Ramada Plaza.

NJ Transit Train - $13pp each way New York Penn Station

Cab or Uber to the cruiseport - <$15

Total comes in about $210

I don't have an opinion about whether the Hampton Inn or the Hilton Garden is better.
