For those sailing on the Sunshine tomorrow(12/17)

You will have a fabulous time! This is the 5th time we have been on her and always have a great time! The crew is awesome, food was great, just a great time we had! I’m sitting in our cabin finishing up packing for our trip home tomorrow. We stayed at Homewood Suites the night before we left and had some cocktails at the outdoor Tiki Bar and did not realize till Saturday evening when I started having VERY intense itching on both my feet. Apparently the sand gnats were very aggressive and by Monday I had had it with the scratching. I went to the medical center onboard. Very quick in seeing me, got some stronger then Benedryl pills( Benedryl did not help) and some cream. Dr said it would take 2 weeks to heal! My feet are still covered with the bites ( and I made it worse by scratching ) but I did not let it ruin my trip! You all must see the band Syzygy onboard. They are AWESOME!! The best band I have seen on any cruise I have been on! There was no ABC NBC or CBS on the Television the entire cruise. Really hope that is not going to be the norm going forward. You will have a great time!! Enjoy! Next cruise I will finally be Diamond!!

Do you know which port you were at when they attacked you? On Little French Key I got bit but didn't feel it until later, bug spray next time I go! The itching is infernal!

Wasn’t in a port, it was at the outside Tiki Hut bar at Homewood Suites by the port,not in any way a diss on the hotel tho, hotel was fabulous
