Marella Discovery Cabins

 Share

Recommended Posts

We have now booked a cruise on the Discovery and are looking to book an outside cabin on Deck 3. Is there any noise from the deck above and are there any cabin numbers that you would recommend?

Many thanks for any responses. :):):):)

The promenade deck is immediately above so you occasionally get a bit of noise from there. On a couple of nights I heard some knocking about 2am, on investigation they were cleaning the deck and the mop head was hitting the ships rail. Once I knew this it did not bother me anymore.

I prefer a cabin forward of midship just because it is far away from the engines.

We had 3512 which was fairly far forward but was the nearest to midships which was left when we booked. I heard a similar noise a couple of times. Never found out what it was but wasn't a problem. Otherwise a very nice, quiet cabin.
