what to do with luggage before flight in Bangkok?

I'm looking into a return flight from Bangkok on my last day of an upcoming trip. I found a great flight that does a full day layover in Tokyo, perfect for a quick bowl of ramen! But the only issue is that the flight would leave at 11:30 pm. I would check out of the hotel at about noon or so. I've never been to asia, so i'm curious what my options are? I know in most places the airport may have a luggage storage area or the hotels will hold them for you after or before your stay, is this common in Thailand? should I get some cheap room somewhere to hold it instead?

Your hotel shouldn't have an issue with holding your luggage after check out.
