I'd say a taxi is your only option!

Hopefully the ship arrives a little earlier than stated and they get the disembarkation process up and running in good time. I'd get on to Guest Services for some advice on how to be one of the first to get off - I mean, obviously apart from being first on the queue! Find out beforehand where the exit is bound to be and have a plan in place about your best route to it on the morning of arrival into Venice.

Thx Bea - we had planned to self disembark (we travel light) as soon as we can. I'm assuming a taxi would be the quickest way to get to the airport. I don't know what we were thinking making such an early flight reservation!

Make sure you pre book taxi. I am not sure for 100% but I think there is no self disembark in Venice. Go 3 days before to customer service and request first group out.
