Leaving from New Orleans in December

We are sailing on the Dream in December (2018) from New Orleans. Has anyone sailed from there in December? I'm wondering if the first day at sea will be warm. ☀️

We have sailed in January and when we got up and about on the first sea day it was wonderful. It had been fairly chilly in New Orleans especially at night, but it was nice from the first sea day on. Have Fun!!

We have done it several times, and have woken up to warm temps every time. We have encountered rain on the last sea day that made it cool though.

NOLA can be anywhere between 50-75. About a week before your cruise go to your favorite weather website and you will know exactly what the weather will be like. Asking a year in advance, who knows?

You are going into the Gulf of Mexico. The waters in the Gulf are always warm. Bye the time you get up, you are going to be south enough to be in warm weather

We left New Orleans a week ago today. Temperatures upon departure were 27 degrees. It was in the 60s the next morning. You should be good. Hopefully we don't see those kind of temperatures for a long time.
