Carnival Valor 1/13/18

Husband and I will be going on our first cruise. Excited/Nervous but really after reading these forums not so much nervous anymore.

Awesome! I'm sure you guys will have fun! This is my second cruise but my first time vacationing solo, which I'm excited/nervous about. See y'all on board! ;)

Cool Dan! Where are you located on the ship? We are going to be on empress deck. Will you be doing the GLBT meetups?

I'm on the Empress deck as well, right in the middle of the ship. If there are GLBT meetups I'll plan to attend. I've heard some cruises shorter than 7 days don't always have them. Hopefully we'll make the cut!

Cool! I've got an interior room. They're nice and dark when you need a midday nap! lol

Have y'all booked any excursions or anything on the ship yet? I'm parasailing in Cozumel at a beach resort/club called Mr Sancho's (it's not through Carnival's excursions). Some friends went there on my last cruise and liked it. I'm kind of planning to just see what happens in Progresso...maybe just do a little souvenir shopping.

Didn't book excursions but we are going to mr sanchos for the all inclusive deal. mom goes all the time said definitely do this. $50 all you can eat and drink. not bad. Progresso we are just going to get couples massage. Can't wait. One more day of work then getting ready to cruise

Excellent! I'm doing the all inclusive deal and parasailing. I was considering horseback riding and a massage but that just sounds like a lot packed into one port stop! I'm trying to keep a balance between not being bored and not being overwhelmed! lol
