My travel agent booked us in room 6323 on the breeze. At first I was happy to be so close to getting a coffee in the morning or a drink at night. But the more I read about smoke and loudness,ni am starting to worry. Just my husband and I on this trip. Anyone like balcony rooms on deck 6?

I am not a fan of deck 6. The lanai promenade juts out more mid ship than on the fore and aft. I feel this limits my privacy. The location of your stateroom will look almost directly down on the hot tub on deck 5. You may or may not hear people enjoying the hot tub.

I would not be worried about smoke. Fat Jimmies is aft of your location and is only on sea days so smoke should be blown aft. The casino is below you but even if there are special events you won't be over a location that typically is noisy.

If it were me I would request to be moved to deck 7 aft port side. You are currently in an 8B (mid ship deck 6) There are 8B on deck 7 so it would be a lateral move as far as categories and should not change the price of your cruise. You would be close to the elevator/stairs for morning coffee on the lido. Most important to me would be improved privacy.

Thanks for the feedback. I am a first time cruiser and thought booking with a travel agent would get me the best room at the best price. Apparently not. Not sure why she gave us such an undesired location :(. There is still a lot of rooms on the website when I look

i am not a fan of deck 6 on any ship but the area you are in is not in a noisy spot BUT you are over the lani and that will be your view when looking down

people can look up and see you sitting out there too

If Possible can you move to the other side-- or see about upgrading to the empress deck on the other side

We didn't mind deck 6 on the Magic, which has the same layout as the Breeze. In fact, we chose it on purpose. My sister had one of the long balconies aft on the ship. No issues with privacy as the lanai area back there narrows. It was very quiet and she loved the long balcony. And we had a 4J allllllllll the way on the other end of the deck. I loved it, because there's only 2 4Js on those ships with couches. We had them both. They both are on deck 6. I wouldn't want to be right over a hot tub, but other than that, don't sweat it. No no issue for us on either ends on deck 6 with noise and I personally love being either one deck above or below a public deck and closer to the food and action. We chose deck 6 for the Vista. Obviously opinions vary.

I've stayed on Deck 6, mid-ship with Balcony and it was completely fine. I had no complaints, I actually liked it a lot because you had the extra floor below you and you can see people walking by. As far as the night being loud, it was fine. Everyone is inside doing all the other activities. I agree with your agent this would be a great deal. Don't be discouraged to do it!

When do you cruise? I'm just curious if you have went yet and if you stayed with 6323 on Breeze b/c I am reserved for that room for cruising this April and was also curious about the noise from the casino and any other possible negatives. My cousin is staying in the connecting room/balcony so that part isn't a concern for us. thanks for any input.

We actually loved the location! It was so close to the coffee place and our favorite bar (alchemy). I feel like it was a great location. 1 flight of stairs down to them! We sleep with a sound machine, so the noise never bothered us. My husband remembers kinda hearing music/talking from the casino if we went to bed early. But I dont remember it keeping us up. We never noticed smoke while on the balcony but it isnt very private either (but that didnt bother us). We feel like it was a great location!

Oh that's good to hear. That's what I have booked.

I hope you enjoy your cruise, and the Breeze. She is my favorite Carnival ship. The atrium is beautiful.

If you choose assigned dining and are in the aft MDR, the hostess, Natasha, will bend over backwards to insure you have a great dining experience.

I hope you'll post a review here.
