Fresh back from drydock, Nieuw Amsterdam will be at pier 26 (port to) and departing (with our fellow addict, Carole) at 4 pm (1600). Also departing at 4 is Koningsdam who will be at pier 21 (starboard to).

Also in port are Caribbean Princess, Royal Princess, and, in her first PE visit for her short Caribbean season, Costa Deliziosa.

Day1: December 21, 2017 - Nassau, Bahamas

Day2: December 22, 2017 - Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

Day3: December 23, 2017 - Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Carole will have to change her signature!

I wish I could be here tomorrow, but, unless we are snowed in, I have a meeting to go to. It has been snowing all day, but lately changed to rain. Just hope it doesn't freeze overnight.

Thanks Scrapnana!

This time will be downtown at Island Prime

To watch the Sailaways of Oosterdam and Amsterdam. When we can we try to see them in port and have a terrific view from the restaurant and enjoy the sail!

Our webcam of San Diego is awful 😞

Denise:)

I always forget about mentioning San Diego sail-aways because the webcam is so horrid. An amazing city like San Diego deserves a better webcam (hint, hint PTZtv). Sounds like you have the best plan to watch Amsterdam and Oosterdam sail-away! Enjoy!

Patience, lady, patience. :D

I cannot get the local internet in my room, I'm now in the Atrium.

Give us a teaser. How does she look after her week+ of dry dock?

New carpets, at every elevator hallway entrance there is a silhouette of a ship with an arrow indicating forward [i'm sure it changes with every location] and indicating which side of ship - port or starboard. Taco bar is gone - it might be inside the Lido, but I only stopped for salad. Lido looks the same setup - not anything like the Koningsdam.

Half the window pool area is cabanas, and all new cushions on the loungers. Haven't visited anyplace else yet.

Huge Gingerbread village display in 1st deck Atrium.

The ship is beautiful. Some Lido staff must be new since they weren't sure what to do. Glad we passed up the upsell. Our stern cabin is beautiful. Checked out silk den which is c also beautiful. We were at a cocktail party for 3,4,and 5 star mariners. Free champagne and mimosas. Atrium has Christmas tree and ginger bread house
