Has anyone traveled on the AmaDara recently from Vietnam into Cambodia and were you able to get the Cambodia visa on board the boat. My husband is doing a lot of business travel right now and not sure we have enough time to sent passport to Wash DC. I have confirmed that VOA is not available for river ports in Cambodia.

We did this trip from Saigon to Hanoi 2017. Amawaterways stopped the ship at the border into Cambodia and a staff gof off and handled the visas. ..even put the visa fee on our ship account.

Just make sure you take your photos(2 pictures per person ) along with you. Easy.

We did a Visa on Arrival when we arrived in Saigon...another easy process.

Enjoy your trip..we did.

Just to confirm, you are travelling from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap (and perhaps on to Hanoi)? I traveled in the opposite direction so I can't help you.

Hi Gnome 12: did you do visa on arrival at Siem Reap after flying from Hanoi?
