Change of Stack Color

why the change to a dark blue color?

The white was very reminiscent of the old Italian line. Now its like NCL....the logo will not show up well against a dark background...what a shame.

Sitmar yellow would be a better choice if white is a problem.......

What do you think?

I don't like the new stack color either. I quite liked the white.

For that matter I'm not crazy about the new logo with the porthole and compass rose, nor do I see why they changed the name from MSC Italian Cruises to just MSC Cruises; the other emphasised their Italian heritage nicely. (As MSC love to point out, they're the only Italian-owned cruise line left.)

My question was made in jest.

On a serious note it seemed that the change coincided with the announcement to take serious the US Market...perhaps not the reason but then why the change....

I for one thought the white stack was beautiful..even on the old Monterey. If I though for one moment consumers had the power to change the livery of a cruise line I would be more vocal. But on this board it seems that expressing ones opinion is not acceptable so I will refrain from any further comments on the aesthetics of any ship.

As for contacting Mr Sasso....people do it to Mr. Conroy of Radisson.....maybe that should be curtailed and the fact that Radisson does take into consideration the consummers desires should be considered just an oddity.

Either way I stand corrected and will avoid this subject from this point forward.
