Does Celebrity usually have "Black Friday" or "Cyber Monday" sales?

They do! Or at least history shows they have in the past. And if you're on board on Black Friday they definitely do. Then if you transfer your booking to a TA you will get even more perks, particularly if you do it on Black Friday (you can leave email messages if they're closed). We did that very thing last year while onboard Equinox, and booked an Azamara cruise for 2018. We got double X on board credit (which were AZ on board credit) and after it was all said and done we have $2700 on board credit on a 15 night cruise in a regular balcony cabin! A lot of it had to do with promos if booked that day only and some of it was doubled again. Most of it will be used for excursions but I imagine that a good chunk of it will go back to our card as AZ has free drinks and gratuities and we likely won't be upgrading or spending much on board.

The perks won't be quite as big as if you're on board (they basically doubled) but unless things have changed, they will have something. For sure the big online TAs will.

$2,700 OBC? How much is this cruise? We would rather have the discount. But how do you know it is refundable back to your card? I would think the OBC from Azamara would not be refundable.

For 2017 Black Friday, they are doing $25 deposits + Current promotions. Here's a link to the flyer.

It doesn't look any better than what we have.

So you only put down $25! Big Deal! That means final payment is much larger!
