Walking

After taking the ferry to Hamilton, can you walk to the Botanical gardens and the Bermuda underwater exploration institute? Are they close to eachother? Has anyone taken the Blue train tour of Hamilton?

I've done it many, many times but I do it because I'm walking home - it depends on how far you like walking.

It's about a 15 min walk on the flat with sidewalks to BUEI.

It's easily 30 mins to the Botanical Gardens, the last little bit with no sidewalks and up a gentle hill.

Both are on bus routes so if you got a day transportation pass, your ferry and bus rides would all be included.

The weather could be a factor - if it's raining, or if it's very hot and humid as it so often is, you'd probably prefer to go by bus.

Thank you very much. I was considering taking busses however I recently read that there could be long wait times due to a shortage of busses in service.

Hire an independent driver. They are everywhere
