Was there twice in oct first time exited out of the port left on route to west bay didn't see anything to vist, second time around our driver exited right and went through the very small town but didn't see anything of note to vist, all very run down and backward looking not anything really for tourists

Is the "Made in Roatan" store still there? I believe it was located a short way after taking a right out of the port gate.

Yes it is. It is so nice to buy something from there and know your purchase will help the crafters families. They also do sell items on line and the shipping is very reasonable.

I was there in the middle of December. We caught a cab to Carombola Garden and spent our time there. In doing so, we drove through the town, but neither my wife or I saw anything that made us want to stop or visit it when we got back from the Garden.

 

A cab ride r/t to the Garden was $45 for the driver to stay as long as we wanted.
