Galveston Home Port - What ship/itinerary do you prefer and why?

Hi, We would like to book a cruise out of Galveston in Jan or Feb 2018. We have chosen Carnival most recently but would like to consider Royal.

Things we enjoy:

The main dining room or affordable specialty dining

Gym including weight room

walking/jogging track

Included sauna and steam room

Live dance music

Wine

Cabin and itinerary are not that important since we have been to most of the ports a few times.

Any of the frequent Galveston cruisers care to share which ships and itineraries that they enjoy?

I think all of the ships are going to offer what you are looking for. The larger ships that have Cloud 9 spas will have really nice saunas and steam rooms but only on the spa side (which costs extra). However they won't all have a free steam room and the sauna will be smaller.

Personally I like the Fantasy class ships but we don't have one any more and when we did they only offered 4-5 day cruises. My favorite itinerary is probably Belize, Roatan and Cozumel. In fact that's the one we are going on in April on the Breeze.
