Spinnaker lounge closed on Pearl?

Just boarded and they have the lounge closed with signs saying it's under renovation. Didn't they just do that to this ship?

Going to be ashame if we can't go in there at all this trip.

Anyone else heard anything about that?

Heard about it when we were on a few weeks ago. It didn't seem like it was going to be closed for more than a couple of weeks. Maybe you will luck out and it will open during your time onboard.

Going to stink if that stays closed, was out favorite hang out last cruise and was looking forward to the new bigger one they show pictures of online.

Don't know why they'd close it so soon after the last dry dock. Also with a sold out ship is making less areas to spread out the crowd

Are they going to renovate or turn it into upscale cabins like they did on the Star?

Poster outside it just shows the lounge under the heading off what it will look like.

The pictures look like what people posted before it closed so no idea why.

Just off the Pearl today. The Spinnaker was closed all 9 days and events were held in the much smaller Atrium and Bliss lounge. All were very packed with lines for the bars. No room to sit for most activities. Very disappointing.

That's what I'm afraid of, can't see any reason to close it much less taunt you with pictures of this is what it will look like.

I don't care what it looks like next month, I'm here now on a sold out boat with a major area closed.

Oh well, we just shoved off so I'll be going dark soon. Time to unplug until next week
