Carnival Splendor vs. Regal Princess

Hi all, can you help me decide between two cruises, both leaving the weekend after Thanksgiving. Both 7 days - the Regal Princess goes to Princess Cays, Antigua and St. Croix; Carnival Splendor calls at Grand Cayman, Belize, Honduras, and Cozumel.

I have been to all ports except St. Croix. I'm drawn to the Princess cruise as I have cruised Princess before, and have heard they are heads and shoulders above Carnival (I've never sailed Carnival). It would be at least one new port for me, but I'm not a huge fan of Princess Cays.

However, Carnival has four port stops - two of which I love (Grand Cayman and Belize), compared to Regal's three.

They are basically the same price for a balcony cabin.

What would you do?

Outside of Princess, I've mostly sailed Royal Caribbean with a cruise on Norwegian as well. Wasn't a fan of Norwegian.

Depends on what is more important for me. I would choose Regal Princess for the ship’s amenities. Ports are not critical for me having been to those ports before.
