AMA Gratuities?

I see in the AMA handbook that gratuities are around $15pp per day. Extra if the service is above and beyond. We are sailing the Viola for a week, August 30th - September 6th. We consider a week 7 days/7 nights, but the brochure calls it an 8 day cruise. Do we leave gratuity for 7 or 8 days?

We tip for a 7 night cruise. And we do add extra for good service to those employees who warrant it. On AMA, that is normally quite a few.:)

Yes. We normally pre pay and then use cash to tip extra where warranted.

Thanks! I was hoping you could. Otherwise I wasn't sure how we were going to use up the onboard credit we are receiving from the TA.
