Referral

My adult daughter said she might join our cruise as the third passenger in the same room. Since she has never been on a cruise before, can I refer her and get on board credit?

Reading the rules and FAQs for the Refer-A-Friend program, it certainly appears that the person you refer has to make their own separate booking for each of you to get the reward.

I was going to say yes until I read post #2 by fishywood. If I was you I would call Princess to make sure.

I referred my mom, and she shared the cabin with me, so same booking and we both got the $25 credit. I think I must have referred her and she accepted it before we made the booking though.

That is exactly right ... refer first, book next.

I have done this several times with friends that haven't cruised on Princess before ... some of which shared a cabin with me. We each got the referral credit ... so $50 for the cabin. Win Win!!

I did the same with two friends sailing with us on Thursday. 50.00 for our cabin.
